Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

Trevor Covelli (c/o 2026)
Position: Offensive Guard/Center
School: Hagerty High
Height/Weight: 6'1”, 295 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 11): N/A

Scouting Report: Covelli is a strong and technically polished interior lineman who brings a physical edge to the Hagerty front. He plays with great leverage and uses his lower-body strength to anchor against interior rushers. His quick hands and ability to mirror defenders make him dependable in both the run and pass game.

Analysis: Covelli's experience and consistency stand out, especially in interior protection. His football IQ and versatility between guard and center add valuable depth to any offense. Continued work on lateral movement and recovery balance will enhance his projection at the college level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371479' first='Jayden' last='Jimenez'] (c/o 2026)
Position: Center/Offensive Guard
School: Boone High
Height/Weight: 6'2”, 280 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 11): N/A

Scouting Report: Jimenez is a technically refined interior blocker with solid size and a strong base. He plays with excellent pad level and hand placement, consistently gaining leverage at the snap. His communication and awareness at center make him a reliable field general for Boone's offensive line.

Analysis: Jimenez's intelligence and poise are major assets. He handles defensive stunts and pressure looks with maturity and confidence. With added strength and continued footwork refinement, he has the makings of a next-level interior lineman who can play multiple spots effectively.

Joey Sonnenberg (c/o 2027)
Position: Center
School: Merritt Island High
Height/Weight: 6'4”, 305 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 11): N/A

Scouting Report: Sonnenberg is a big, powerful center with an ideal frame and natural strength. He excels at creating push in the run game and using his size to neutralize interior defenders. Despite his power, he maintains balance and solid footwork, making him effective in both gap and zone schemes.

Analysis: Sonnenberg's blend of size and strength gives him tremendous upside as a 2027 prospect. He already shows the physical presence of a veteran and could develop into a dominant interior force with continued work on agility and pad level. His ceiling is very high long-term.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895251' first='Kash' last='Hadley'] (c/o 2027)
Position: Offensive Guard
School: St. Cloud High
Height/Weight: 6'0”, 250 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 11): N/A

Scouting Report: Hadley plays with toughness and leverage, using power and quick hands to win inside battles. His ability to engage early and sustain blocks helps stabilize the interior line. He brings a blue-collar mindset and finishes with aggression through the whistle.

Analysis: Hadley's motor and physicality make him a dependable interior presence for St. Cloud. As he continues to grow and add size, his natural leverage advantage and technical awareness will translate well to the next level. A gritty competitor with a developing frame and upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369049' first='Ethen' last='Frederick'] (c/o 2026)
Position: Offensive Tackle
School: Zephyrhills High
Height/Weight: 6'2”, 270 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 11): N/A

Scouting Report: Frederick is a versatile lineman with a sturdy build and impressive quickness. He shows disciplined footwork and plays with balance and control in pass protection. In the run game, he finishes blocks with physicality and consistently creates movement at the point of attack.

Analysis: Frederick's combination of technique and athleticism makes him one of Zephyrhills' most consistent linemen. He's a smart, competitive blocker who projects well as a guard or tackle at the next level. Continued strength development will only enhance his already well-rounded game.
