2027 Indiana: Offensive Weapons Breaking Out

The 2027 class is loaded with playmakers, and today, we're taking a look at a handful of recruits who popped for their respective programs this fall and should be monitored moving forward.    Williams-Jarrett pops on the field and looks good. He's got fantastic length and size. He's speedy and can create separation, which is a big plus for someone with his frame. His vertical is good, and he's able to win those contested catches, especially down in the red zone. He understands his game and what he does well, so he leans into it. He's not afraid to go over the middle and will take a pop. His 37 receptions for 652 yards and 6 TDs showed his promise this year, and I anticipate him building on that next fall.     Thomas looks the part at RB and has all the traits and intangibles of a guy who can have a long career carrying the rock. He's got good vision and can cut on a dime. He accelerates quickly and gets full speed in just a few steps. He can stop and start as well as anyone, which helps him make those creative runs. He quickly became Pike's go-to guy as the season rolled on. He's not going down on first contact and can rip off a 90+ yard run. He put up 1050 total yards and 12 total TDs on the season.     O'Neal is a dynamic back who just put together another stellar season where he matched his freshman production. He's got good vision and can hit the hole. He's able to get small and shoot through smaller holes. He can get lost behind the offensive linemen and shoot out a gap the defenders couldn't see. Through 26 career games, he's put up 2753 rushing yards and 33 TDs while averaging 6 yards per carry.     Horton has improved every year he's been in high school and took his biggest step this fall. He became the starter and proved to be a viable back with good game knowledge. He's capable out of the backfield as well, which is always a plus. He runs hard and will follow his blocks, which sounds simple but sometimes can be forgotten as a back. His 897 rushing yards and 13 TDs set career highs, and he really caught fire late in the season.     Raymond is an incredible athlete and a 3-sport stud for LaPorte. He's great on the football field, a capable big man on the basketball court, and a good infielder who can hit on the diamond. He's got incredible hand-eye coordination and body control, which really shine on the football field. He runs hard and is hard to bring down. He's got the speed to house the long one. He broke a 91-yarder this year. He put up 1387 rushing yards and 12 TDs. He then added 7 catches for 55 yards, and another TD through the air.
