The 2026 class didn't offer many surprises talent wise for the rankings, but there were a handful of players who were added and are new to the post-season 2026 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1990048' first='Jacob' last='Miller'], OT/TE Penney
(6'8" 245) - The hidden gem of the class before the season who was found by Northwestern first and offer, before a few other D1 schools became aware of him. He's hard to miss once you see him at six-foot-eight, but the second thing you notice is how athletic he is at that height and 250 pounds. Also a basketball standout, the Wildcats see him as an athlete who can wind up either playing tight end with his hands and blocking ability or grow into an offensive tackle with his frame, and use his quick feet from basketball to use along the OL.

[player_tooltip player_id='2003991' first='Grant' last='Lott'], DT/OL Ft. Zumwalt South
(6'3" 265) - One of the most impressive prospects I have watched live the past couple of years. Lott has one of the best motors and plays with an attitude you will find on the high school level playing on both sides of the ball pulling double duty. On offense he is a tenacious run blocker who has the feet and skill to pass pro well, and on defense he is a run stuffer who disrupts into the backfield and makes plays. Grant runs well and has good strength to finish both blocks and tackles. Wyoming is the lucky school to land him and his impressive upside and ceiling he still has to reach.

[player_tooltip player_id='2003970' first='Nicklaus' last='Thomas'], OL Hannibal
(6'6" 290) - This offensive lineman with great size that moves really well caught my attention at the KC Varsity combine back in April with his testing and performance in drills and 1on1s against some talented defensive linemen in attendance. He followed that up with a similar one at Lindenwood camp, and colleges started taking notice. His Pirates are playing in the semifinals this weekend to attempt to play in the Class 4 state championship and have gotten there with an impressive run offense. Thomas is a talented run blocker who has the tools to keep improving as a college player. Eastern Illinois is where he will take his talents.

[player_tooltip player_id='2003967' first='Mathew' last='Gass'], DL Rock Bridge
(6'3" 245) - One of the top pass rushers and players who had the ability to get in the opponents backfield to make plays against the run that I saw this season. Great DE size with a quick first step and motor to have offensive tackles on their heels. Gass never takes his foot off the gas, and along with good speed and quickness, had really good strength and can shed blocks to make plays against the run. Had 50 tackles and 15 sacks his senior season.
