Under the Radar: Florida’s 2027 Quarterback Standouts

Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.   These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.   There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects. Jaxson Mariconi (c/o 2027) Position: Quarterback School: Santaluces High Height/Weight: 6'2”, 190 lbs Current Season Stats (through Week 10): 65-101 for 1,141 yards and 9 touchdowns   Scouting Report: Mariconi has been efficient and composed under center, showing strong pocket presence and a smooth throwing motion. His mechanics are clean, and he delivers the football with touch and accuracy to all levels of the field. At 6'2”, 190 lbs, he has the frame and arm talent to develop into a well-rounded passer.   Analysis: Mariconi's command of the offense and decision-making continue to improve each week. He shows the ability to read coverages and distribute the ball effectively, rarely forcing plays. With continued work on timing and mobility outside the pocket, his stock as a 2027 quarterback could rise quickly. He throws with confidence from the pocket but is equally dangerous when improvising on the run. His athleticism allows him to escape pressure and turn broken plays into positive gains.   Analysis: Themar's ability to impact the game both through the air and on the ground makes him one of the more versatile quarterbacks in the 2027 class.
