<p>Two big-name Gulf Coast programs are squaring off as the undefeated Memorial Titans play host to the (2-3) Tornadoes looking to right the ship and get hot down the stretch. With Memorial historically having a strong advantage in this district affair, Ball will be looking to shock the region. There is plenty of talent from either squad on both sides of the ball, so let's take a look at 6 impact players ahead of tonight's matchup.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ball</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Everything starts up front, and what better way to do it than with a powerful anchor of a left tackle like Evans. Josiah displays great technique, always setting himself to be able to pivot inside or out and protect the pocket. He excels at using his heavy hands and explosive hips to strike edge rushers into the ground. Evans is truly dominant in the run game with the power for gap schemes and short area quickness for zone. He also flashes very solid traits in pass protection in a developing offense. Always playing with a high-motor and nastiness, Evans will be crucial in the chance of a Tornadoes upset. Isaiah showcases great footwork and technique in man coverage, blanketing wideouts with fluid hips and good recovery speed. Thanks to his 4.5 speed and great ball skills, Washington already has 2 INTs this season including a pick-6. Ball's young stud has looked like one of the islands off the coast at corner this season, absolutely locking down his side of the field. He is still learning timing and reading the field, which considered with where he is already at tells me Washington will develop into an elite DB. He's looking the part this season and will be tasked with limiting an explosive offense tonight. Expect his recruitment to grow as he currently holds an offer from Texas State.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Juwaan has been the star three-way player for the Tornadoes up to this point, flashing at WR, DB, and in the return game. He sees the field well on both sides of the ball, finding the creases in defenses as a pass catcher, and shutting those creases down at safety. Woodbury possesses loose hips and stellar lateral change of direction. He demonstrates great after the catch ability as a receiver, compiling over 200 yards and 2 TDs in just 3 games this season. At nickel/safety, he has locked down the short part of the field with great burst to the ball, and he brought down an INT in the Friendswood game. Juwaan is probably the most important leader of this team as a senior 3-way contributor, and tonight he will look to help lead an upset for the Tornadoes. One of the more underrated RBs in the state, Amante showcases great vision and anticipation while toting the rock, constantly setting up his blocks and making defenders miss. He has great lower body balance control and always accelerates out of his cuts. He has great burst and twitch through the line of scrimmage, allowing him to break into the second level nearly every carry. While his full stat line for the season is not available, 200+ yards and a couple scores are seemingly a lock for Martin ever contest. The TCU commit will look to have another big one tonight.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">One of the best linebackers in the entire country, "Tank" is the leader of the suffocating Titans defense. King is a true do-it-all at the backer position, shifting inside and out. showcasing great burst off the ball into the backfield along with stellar play in space. He possesses fluid footwork and great pad level, setting himself up to make plays around the box or in the backfield. Tank's short-area quickness, ability to strike out of his hips, and high-motor make him look ready to be an effective tackler at the next level already. He also has great bend on the edge which he utilizes to sack the quarterback and blowup handoffs. King does a great job of flipping his hips and manning up receivers one-on-one down the sideline. He excels at timing his jumps to breakup or even reel in contested catches. King plays with routes with the perfect amount of physicality without holding the WR, always positioning himself to make a play on the ball. He possesses great redirection quickness and has the speed to recover on double moves. If tested at all tonight, expect the TCU commit to impact the game with some plays on the ball.</p>
