Washington is a 6’2 defensive back who brings strong length and versatility to the secondary, giving him the tools to match up with bigger receivers on the outside. He uses his size well in coverage, staying disciplined in his assignments and making it difficult for quarterbacks to consistently attack his side of the field. His long frame allows him to contest throws at the catch point and close windows quickly when he’s in position, especially on vertical routes where his length becomes a major advantage.

What stands out is his ability to play physical without losing control. Washington is willing to step up in run support and isn’t afraid to come downhill and finish tackles in space, showing toughness when he’s forced into one-on-one situations.

A ball-hawk with a long frame, Washington has been electric for the Nadoes this season and is a name to buy stock in now for 2028 DBs. Isaiah showcases great footwork and technique in man coverage, blanketing wideouts with fluid hips and good recovery speed. Thanks to his 4.5 speed and great ball skills, Washington already has 2 INTs this season including a pick-6. Ball’s young stud has looked like one of the islands off the coast at corner this season, absolutely locking down his side of the field. He is still learning timing and reading the field, which considered with where he is already at tells me Washington will develop into an elite DB. He’s looking the part this season and will be tasked with limiting an explosive offense tonight. Expect his recruitment to grow as he currently holds an offer from Texas State.
