The state playoffs in the Natural State start in three weeks. Which means that seniors are playing the last few weeks of high school football. Here are several players who lit up Thursday and Friday night this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1171700' first='Dawson' last='Keaton']-Wide Receiver-Farmington-5'11” 170-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='1171700' first='Dawson' last='Keaton'] has had a breakout season from the wide receiver position. He had consistently created separation from opposing defensive backs all season. Keaton uses his quickness and sharp route running to his advantage to create separation. He lit up the Morrilton defense on Thursday to the tune of eight receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Keaton is a senior who college scouts should be taking a long look at over the next few weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1408405' first='Lexx' last='Latham']-Running Back-Rivercrest-5'9” 165-Pounds-2028

The Rivercrest sophomore is having an impressive season to the say the least. Against Osceola on Friday, Latham racked up 26 carries for 282 yards and one touchdown. He is a patient running back who waits for his blockers to open up a rushing lane before exploding through the hole. Latham gets stronger as the game progresses and he is a player to watch out for over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1525124' first='Caden' last='Whitaker']-Running Back-Arkadelphia-6'3” 182-Pounds-2027

[player_tooltip player_id='1525124' first='Caden' last='Whitaker'] is a player to watch out for over the next few months for the Badgers. He has lit it up on both sides of the ball this season. Whitaker on Friday night averaged, 15.6 yards per carry and found the endzone three times. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, he had three tackles, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble. Whitaker is another prospect to watch out for as the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='401206' first='Nikel' last='Lewis']-Running Back-Hamburg-5'9” 200-Pounds-2026

The Hamburg running back has had a massive season for the Lions. Lewis entered this week with the state lead in rushing yardage. Lewis excels at fending off tackles and breaking into the open field. Against Star City, Lewis had seven carries for 145 yards and four touchdowns. Lewis is a prospect to watch out for as the playoffs approach over the next few weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1244451' first='Hank' last='Hendrix']-Quarterback-Fayetteville-6'3” 175-Pounds-2027

[player_tooltip player_id='1244451' first='Hank' last='Hendrix'] has had an impressive season for the Bulldogs this season. Hendrix does a good job of reading the opposing secondary. He is not afraid to use his legs to extend the play and pick up chunks of yards in the process. On Thursday night against Springdale, Hendrix threw for 406 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, he was able to grind out two touchdowns on the ground for the Bulldogs. He is a player to watch out for as the season comes to a close.

[player_tooltip player_id='374932' first='Jackson' last='Lane']-Wide Receiver-Bentonville West-5'11” 165-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='374932' first='Jackson' last='Lane'] is another talented senior wide receiver who has had an impressive season. He consistently creates separation from opposing defensive backs. Against Rogers Heritage on Thursday night, Lane hauled in six receptions for 175 yards and two touchdowns. Lane also had ten yards on the ground and one touchdown. He is a player to watch as the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='1283877' first='Enoch' last='Assan']-Running Back-Greenbrier-5'9” 180-Pounds-2026

The Greenbrier running back is a player who just gets stronger as the game progresses. He is a patient runner who allows his blocks to take shape before exploding through the hole. Assan rushed 15 times for 214 yards and three touchdowns against Pea Ridge. Assan has the potential to put up big numbers during the playoffs, and he is a player to watch out for this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='884675' first='Levi' last='Warrior']-Quarterback-Maumelle-6'0” 190-Pounds-2027

[player_tooltip player_id='884675' first='Levi' last='Warrior'] has been a signal caller who has impressed me each time I have had the chance to watch him. Warrior had a strong performance against White Hall this week. Warrior threw for 258 yards and five touchdowns on the night. Warrior is a quarterback to watch out for as the state playoffs approach in a few weeks. Keep an eye on Warrior over the next few years.

The state playoffs in the Natural State start in three weeks. Which means that seniors are playing the last few weeks of high school football. Here are several players who lit up Thursday and Friday night this week.
