The high school football season is progressing toward the playoffs at a rapid pace. Today we will shine a spotlight at the prospects who had a busy Friday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='1195596' first='Jacob' last='Miles']-Quarterback-Searcy-5'10” 170-Pounds-2028

[player_tooltip player_id='1195596' first='Jacob' last='Miles'] is a signal caller to watch out for over the next few seasons for the Lions. Against Pine Bluff, Miles had a busy night through the air. He threw for 328 yards and six touchdowns on the night. Miles is a prospect who can test opposing defenses with the deep ball or simply work the shot and intermediate routes. He is a player to watch as the season progresses.

[player_tooltip player_id='1283877' first='Enoch' last='Assan']-Running Back-Greenbrier-5'9” 190-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='1283877' first='Enoch' last='Assan'] has not slowed down at all this season. He continues to open eyes with his ability to move the football on the ground. Assan played only the first half for Greenbrier on Friday night. However, he rushed for 198 yards and five touchdowns off of 13 carries against the Airedales of Alma. Assan is a player to watch out for as we get closer to postseason play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1173104' first='Carter' last='Wallace']-Running Backy-Valley View-6'0” 204-Pounds-2027

The Valley View running back continues to produce big plays this season for the Blazers. Wallace is a patient running back who allows the rushing lanes to develop. Against Brookland on Friday night, Wallace carried the ball 13 times for 144 yards and three touchdowns. Wallace is a player to watch out for as the postseason approaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1158068' first='William' last='Manning']-Wide Receiver-Searcy-5'8” 145-Yards-2027

The Searcy passing attack has the potential to cause problems for opposing secondaries over the next few years. Manning used his crisp route running capability to escape from opposing defensive backs. Manning put that talent on display Friday night against Pine Bluff. He hauled in nine receptions for 226 yards and four touchdowns on the night. Manning is a player to watch out for over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1430397' first='Darren' last='Mays']-Linebacker-Van Buren-5'11” 190-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='1430397' first='Darren' last='Mays'] is a linebacker who has been flying under the radar. However, he is having a breakout season for the Pointers. Against Fort Smith Southside, Mays had an interception return for a touchdown. Mays was not finished on the defensive side of the ball, he also had 12 tackles and one tackle for loss on the night against the Mavericks. Mays is a player to watch as the season starts to wind down.

[player_tooltip player_id='401206' first='Nikel' last='Lewis']-Running Back-Hamburg-5'9” 200-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='401206' first='Nikel' last='Lewis'] is a running back who gets stronger running the football as the game progresses. Lewis had no problem torching the Crossett defense on Friday night this week. Lewis churned out 149 yards on four rushing touchdowns against the Eagles. Lewis is a player to watch out for over the next few weeks. He has had a tremendous season for Hamburg.

[player_tooltip player_id='1586245' first='Cole' last='Slepecki']-Quarterback-Bentonville-6'1” 200-Pounds-2026

The Bentonville signal caller had an impressive night against the rival Fayetteville Bulldogs on Friday night. Slepecki picked apart the Fayetteville secondary. Slepecki was 11 of 17 for 242 yards and five touchdowns. Slepecki has the arm strength to keep opposing defenders honest but also the accuracy to keep drives alive for the Tigers. Watch out for Slepecki as the state playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='1659952' first='Rashad' last='Moore']-Running Back-Dumas-5'9” 190-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='1659952' first='Rashad' last='Moore'] is a player to watch out for on both sides of the ball for Dumas. However, Moore had a busy night on Friday night rushing the football against Palestine-Wheatley. Moore carried the football 22 times for 187 yards on the ground. Moore is a prospect to watch as the season starts to wind down for the Bobcats.

The high school football season is progressing toward the playoffs at a rapid pace. Today we will shine a spotlight at the prospects who had a busy Friday night.
