The sixth week of the high school football season helps shape how conferences will look come playoff time. Players continue to raise the level of play each week. We will look at players who had strong performances on Friday night this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1408405' first='Lexx' last='Latham']-Running Back-Rivercrest-5'9” 170-Pounds-2028

The Rivercrest prospect is a player to watch out for over the next few seasons. However, he is already opening eyes each Friday night this season. Latham had a big night on both sides of the ball this week. He rushed 12 times for 84 yards, Latham had three receptions for 116 yards, and a touchdown. Meanwhile, on defense, he racked up 10 tackles on the night from the secondary. Latham is a prospect to watch out for with the Colts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1283877' first='Enoch' last='Assan']-Running Back-Greenbrier-5'9” 190-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='1283877' first='Enoch' last='Assan'], over the past few years, has put on a show at each Prep Redzone camp he has attended, and he is not slowing down one bit this season. On Friday night, Assan exploded for 353 yards and four touchdowns. Assan continues to be a patient running back who allows the rushing lanes to develop before exploding through the hole. Colleges should be recruiting Assan hard at this point. He continues open eyes each week.

[player_tooltip player_id='203768' first='Drew' last='Davis']-Quarterback-Benton-6'2” 195-Pounds-2026

The Benton signal caller is having a tremendous 2025 football season. Davis is an accurate quarterback to all areas of the field. Against Sheridan on Friday night, Davis threw for 435 yards and eight touchdowns on the night. However, Davis also found the end zone on the ground and brought his total touchdown mark to nine on the night. Davis is a quarterback to watch out for as the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='1453930' first='Hayden' last='Williford']-Quarterback-Van Buren-6'0” 160-Pounds-2027

One team that might be flying under the radar this season is the Van Buren Pointers. Both the Pointer and quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1453930' first='Hayden' last='Williford'] are having breakout seasons. Williford had another big night this week against Lake Hamilton. Williford threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns this week. Williford is a player to keep an eye on over the next few weeks for the Pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='806079' first='Blake' last='Coughran']-Running Back-Prairie Grove-5'10” 190-Pounds-2026

The Prairie Grove running back had an impressive night against Berryville this week. Coughran ran the ball between the tackles as well as made the cuts down the sideline. Coughran had a big night on both sides of the ball for the Tigers. He had 18 carries for 222 yards and four touchdowns. Coughran tacked on two successful two-point conversions as well. On the defensive side of the ball, he had an interception that helped end a drive against Berryville. Coughran is a player to watch this season as it winds down.

[player_tooltip player_id='479026' first='Barrett' last='Miller']-Runing Back-Mountain Home-5'10” 198-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='479026' first='Barrett' last='Miller'] has had an impressive 2025 football season for the Bombers. Miller had a big night against the Russellville Cyclones this week. Miller rushed for 173 yards on 11 carries and had two touchdowns on the ground. Meanwhile, he was dangerous as a wide receiver as well, Miller caught two passes for 35 yards and one touchdown. He is a player to watch out for as the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227660' first='Cain' last='Price']-Quarterback-Stuttgart-6'2” 180-Pounds-2027

[player_tooltip player_id='1227660' first='Cain' last='Price'] is a dynamic prospect on the gridiron as well as on the hardwood. He is a player you have to account for on both playing surfaces. On the gridiron, he has the ability to pick an opposing defense apart with his arm. On Friday night, he was 15 of 20 for 296 yards and five touchdowns. Price also tacked on 47 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Price is a player to watch as the season winds down and one to watch during the offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer']-Quarterback-Greenwood-6'2” 207-Pounds-2026

The future Central Florida quarterback did all of his damage in the first half this week. Archer was 17 of 20 for 224 yards through the air. He rushed for 85 yards on seven carries. Archer finished up the first half with four total touchdowns on the night. Greenwood is a team to watch out for as we approach the state playoffs.
