TIGERVILLE - Blue Ridge quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1738823' first='Gavin' last='Forrester'] didn't do a whole lot through the air on Friday.

He didn't have to.

Forrester (pictured) directed a Tigers offense that rushed for four touchdowns as Blue Ridge beat Berea 43-0 to close out the regular season.

Oh, and when he did throw it, Forrester was perfect. He finished 5-for-5 for 100 yards through the air, including a touchdown pass to [player_tooltip player_id='1822168' first='Mitch' last='Bobbitt'] in the win.

His legs, though, just gave the Tigers a wrinkle that Berea never quite got figured out.

That different dynamic was on display early and often for the Tigers. Forrester's second carry of the night went for 23 yards, and it was one of seven carries on the night that went for double-digit yardage. He finished with 15 carries for 137 yards on the night, including 115 in the first half, scoring on a six-yard run for the Tigers' first points of the night.

"I think it adds a whole lot more to our scheme," Forrester said of his running ability. "You've got rollouts, you've got quarterback runs, it's just really a game-changer. There's definitely a plan going into the game depending on what defenses give us."

He's also a physical runner, and that was on full display as well. He absorbed some punishment but dished some out as well, including providing a big hit to close out a gain that set up a score.

"I love it," he said. "I love when people are coming after me like that. That's football."

He wasn't alone finding success on the ground. [player_tooltip player_id='1819617' first='Jakorey' last='Dodd'] provided plenty of flash himself, with 16 carries for 169 yards on the night, including touchdowns of 1 and 26 yards. Brylon McCoy scored on a 3-yard run, and even the big guys got in on the fun for the Tigers, as OL Dylan Duty, chasing a play all the way down the field, recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown of his own.

McCoy had a big night on both sides of the ball, turning in a number of big stops on defense. He was joined by [player_tooltip player_id='1819622' first='Jack' last='Blankenship'], who was flying all over the place defensively. [player_tooltip player_id='1825083' first='Gavin' last='Taylor'] also made a couple of huge defensive plays, [player_tooltip player_id='1819626' first='Braylon' last='Cosme'] had some big hits in the secondary, and [player_tooltip player_id='1822171' first='Aiden' last='Crump'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1693737' first='Cooper' last='Smith'] made life miserable for the Berea offense, including combining on a safety.

Berea's rushing attack was the entirety of the Bulldogs' offense, as [player_tooltip player_id='1821168' first='Elijah' last='Gary'], [player_tooltip player_id='1823766' first='Uriah' last='Lee'], Braylon Fields, and [player_tooltip player_id='1816234' first='Isaiah' last='Griffin'] all notched some tough yardage.

Defensively, [player_tooltip player_id='1821170' first='Jelani' last='Bradley'] helped lead the Bulldogs with several big stops and a fumble recovery.
