[player_tooltip player_id='1602070' first='Alex' last='Munoz'] — 5-10, 190 QB — Teurlings Catholic (2026)

The son of Louisiana (Lafayette) associate head coach Jorge Munoz has been one of the state's most productive quarterbacks the past couple of seasons and looked the part again Friday with a pair of rushing touchdowns and three passing. The senior standout is a clear leader of the undefeated team with both his playmaking and his demeanor. Munoz was consistently effective with his legs both on designed runs and rolling out and making throws outside of the pocket and made a few nice throws downfield to Andrew Viator, Quinn Simon and company.

Spencer Meche — RB — Teurlings Catholic (2027)

The junior went over 100 yards and found the end zone twice as the most effective of the Rebels' running backs on the night, slicing and powering his way through contact on a short run in the first quarter for the game's first score and then popping a long breakaway in the second quarter to help extend the lead.

Andrew Fruge — 6-0, 210 EDGE — Teurlings Catholic (2026)

The senior defensive end was one of the physical, hard-hitting standouts up front in a strong showing by the Rebels overall against their Class 5A visitors. Fruge made several stops at and behind the line, unloading on ball-carriers for energizing highlight plays.

and Jaxon Broussard — 5-10, 205 LB — Teurlings Catholic (2026)

The Rebels began snatching one interception after another in the third quarter to blow the game open from a two-score edge to the lopsided victory. Dean snatched a sideline interception right off the bat in the third quarter to help spark the huge second-half surge, and Chavis housed a pick-six later in the quarter that served as an early exclamation mark on the night. Broussard was part of the stout effort in the box, but added his biggest highlight in the fourth quarter as he dropped back into the middle of the field and joined the interception party.

Drake Perry — 6-2, 305 OL — Teurlings Catholic (2026)

The third Perry brother coming through the Rebels' program doesn't have the height of Thomas (6-foot-6) or Gresham (6-foot-4), but packs the same sort powerful punch and tenacity to his his game, serving as the team's center and consistently driving or turning defenders out of running lanes for Meche, Munoz and company for good gains between the tackles.

[player_tooltip player_id='740981' first='Brysten' last='Martinez'] — 6-7, 315 OL/ATH — East Ascension (2026)

The LSU offensive line commit has not only held his own as more of a versatile athlete and all-around weapon this season, but excelled in the role as a matchup nightmare. The Spartans finally started sustaining some success offensively in the second quarterback when Martinez took the reins for several direct snaps. And in the third quarter, he highlighted his pass-catching night with a leaping touchdown grab in the corner of the end zone, then threw the subsequent two-point conversion.

The Spartans' junior wide receiver duo each stung the defense for explosive scores to help highlight the team's passing game, along with a fourth-down touchdown in the red zone just before halftime from junior quarterback Jarrod "J.J." LeBouef to senior Joseph Gautreau. Merriweather got loose for a downfield play in the second quarter, while the taller, leaner Ursin took a shorter pass in the third quarter, threw off an attempted tackle and then dashed up the sideline.
