<p><strong>Jefferson County North (7-0</strong>)<strong> @ Jackson Heights (7-0) – </strong>Two undefeated teams meet in Class 1A this week. One team will lose its perfect season, while the other will finish with a District 3 Title. The Chargers stomped McLouth 58-8 last week, while the Cobras held serve against Valley Falls 54-6.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1577007' first='Austin' last='Zeller'],</strong> TE/DB, 6'4”, 215, Jackson Heights, ‘26</p>

<p>Zeller is a significant and big target in the Cobras' passing game. He has made 19 receptions for 380 yards and eight touchdowns in six games played. He has also registered 24 total tackles and 11 tackles for lost yardage for Jackson Heights.</p>

<p><strong>Basehor-Linwood (7-0) @ Lansing (2-5) – </strong>Only the Lansing Lions stand in the way of the Bobcats' chance at an undefeated regular season. Basehor knocked off Seaman 47-40 last week. The Lions have lost three straight games after a 42-8 loss to Shawnee Heights.</p>

<p><strong>McCoy Martin,</strong> LB, 6'0”, 190, Basehor-Linwood, ‘28</p>

<p>Martin is having a solid defensive season for the Bobcats. The sophomore backer has recorded 40 total tackles in six games played. He has also registered one tackle for lost yardage. He moves well and plays smart football. He is aggressive, but does not run himself out of plays.</p>

<p><strong>Atchison County (3-4) @ Nemaha Central (7-0) – </strong>Atchison County hopes to play spoiler this week against the Thunder. The Tigers are coming off a 50-12 loss to Jefferson West, but have a chance to end Nemaha Central's undefeated season. The Thunder knocked off the Royal Valley Panthers last week 48-27.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1585169' first='Kamden' last='Schmitz'],</strong> LB/DB, 6'2”, 170, Nemaha Central, ‘26</p>

<p>The Thunder's offense gets all the attention, but the Nemaha defense is solid as well. Schmitz is among the team leaders in tackles with 45 in seven games. He has also grabbed two interceptions. The Thunder have eight players with at least 40 tackles.</p>

<p><strong>Seaman (3-4) @ De Soto (5-2) – </strong>The Vikings are coming off a tough loss to Basehor-Linwood in Week Seven. The Wildcats bounced back from their second loss of the season by defeating non-league opponent Blue Valley Southwest 59-33.</p>

<p>Moravec has been doing yeoman's work for the Vikings, after Seaman lost its starting running back to injury in the season opener. The sophomore back leads the Vikings with 132 carries and 798 yards. He has found the end zone 11 times in seven games for Seaman.</p>

<p><strong>Riley County (2-5) @ Osage City (6-1) –</strong> Osage City will look to rebound quickly from its first loss of the season against Silver Lake. The Eagles knocked off the Indians 28-21 during week seven. Riley County is coming off its second victory of the year, a 40-32 nailbiter against the Hesston Swathers.</p>

<p><strong>Reed Silver</strong>, ATH, 6'1”, 170, Osage City, ‘27</p>

<p>Osage City is getting significant contributions from Silver. He is second on the team with 43 tackles in seven games. He has recorded 4.5 tackles for lost yardage. Offensively, he has done it all for the Indians. He has thrown for 362 yards and five touchdowns, has rushed for 349 yards and two TDs, while making 15 receptions for 289 yards and five more touchies.</p>
