And while the focus is normally on the senior gunslingers, this year, the Class of 2027 has made just as big of a name for itself. Here are five of the most prolific junior quarterbacks from the Central TX region so far this season.    With polarizing accuracy at all three levels, Knights' pass catchers are never truly covered with Devine delivering passes. Jack thrives at hitting his receivers in stride down the sideline and zipping passes into tight windows over the middle of the field. A pure pocket passer with a quick but powerful release, Devine is also a great athlete with sneaky speed and physicality, flashing electric ability as a runner all season. Jack may have the best statistics of any quarterback in the state this year, totaling over 3,000 total yards and 46 total touchdowns to a ridiculous zero interceptions through 9 games. Devine has led the Knights to an undefeated record so far and holds offers from schools such as Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, and UTSA,      A dual threat and gunslinger QB, Sweeney loves to absolutely rip it downfield and extend plays with his legs when needed. Grant excels at stepping up in the pocket and delivering accurate passes down the seams and over the middle of the field, a skill unique for lowerclassmen QBs. Sweeney also flashes some electric running abilities out of the backfield, displaying great change of direction and straight-line speed. He has prototype traits, with a fluid quick throwing motion and a smooth stride run style. Through 8 games, Sweeney has compiled nearly 3,000 total yards and 31 TDs while leading the Hounds to a 7-1 record. He'll look to stay hot down the stretch and build upon an offer list that includes UNLV, UTSA, and North Texas.      Humble is an elite pocket passer who thrives at launching the deep ball and slipping out the pocket to throw on the run. He does a great job at throwing in the face of pressure with great touch and accuracy. Hudson has been consistently accurate at all three levels this season, and he's also put up some electrifying moments, including a fake field goal hold and a 7 TD explosion. Over 8 contests this season, Humble has ripped the rock to a 73% completion clip while totaling over 2,300 yards and 26 touchdowns. Watch for Hudson to lead the Knights to a deep playoff push and add to an offer from Lamar.      Another dynamic dual-threat, Caleb does a great job of taking what the defense gives him in zone coverages and taking the top off the secondary when manned up. He also provides great value to his squad by extending plays with his legs. Quitadamo is an instinctive runner with great acceleration and athleticism out of the backfield. He also flashes the ability to throw off his back foot while on the run from an array of angles. Caleb is top 10 statewide in passing yardage with over 2,600 on the season so far, along with 38 total touchdowns. Expect Quitadamo's name to pick up heat on recruiting boards down the stretch as he wills his Eagles to a playoff run.      While the Leopards' season hasn't gone the way they expected it to, Blancett has been a bright spot and is trying to lead a cash in of their outside playoff chances. Jaxon boasts a tall strong frame and showcases great arm strength and anticipation in the deep part of the field. He is a true gunslinger who loves to give his wideouts a chance in 1 on 1 opportunities. Blancett also showcases some flash out of the backfield, completing jump throws and taking off for long runs when needed. He has totaled over 2,800 total yards and 25 TDs through 8 games. In a season of ups and downs for Jaxon and the Leopards, he has flashed his incredible potential and will take a step forward as one of the states' best with more consistency. With his extreme arm talent expect his recruitment to ramp up as the season winds down.
