ARKANSAS HSFB: Week Seven Scouting Report

<p>Week seven is here! We continue our weekly scouting reports. We will provide detailed analyses of key players to watch and highlight potential risers or promising prospects that have not received much attention.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1953510' first='Clarence' last='Mucherson'] plays safety but has the IQ to play off-ball corner if needed. On the season, he has 22 tackles, four PBUs, and three interceptions. Mucherson plays the football well, often contesting the catch point or forcing turnovers with his reactions. He went 34/44 (77%), 330 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 10 carries for 121 yards and one touchdown. Lester showed that he could be a dual-threat quarterback. He brings experience at quarterback but also can line up out wide. He's a physical Mike linebacker who will fill running lanes and pursue the football sideline-to-sideline. Thornton displays the ability to stack and shed effectively and be physical at the POA. He showcases solid COD and lateral quickness when in zone. He can create separation off his break due to solid COD, balance, and burst. Beach attacks zone coverage effectively with his route running and mental processing.
