<p class="text-gray-700">Lincoln's versatile playmaker Murff showed off his all-around skillset in a 54-38 win over Wells. Murff rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown, while also returning a kickoff 54 yards for another score. Defensively, he added five tackles, proving once again that he's one of the most complete two-way athletes in the PIL. His impact in all three phases of the game helped Lincoln stay among the conference's top contenders.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Ellingson was unstoppable on both sides of the ball in Sunset's 44-14 win over Southridge. The junior hauled in eight receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns while making his mark defensively with two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown. His ability to dominate in multiple roles set the tone for the Apollos' performance. Ellingson continues to emerge as one of the Metro League's most dynamic playmakers.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">For the third time this season, Heninger finds himself among Oregon's best performers after another dominant outing. The senior running back rushed for 286 yards and three touchdowns in Glencoe's 44-0 win over Century, controlling the game from start to finish. Heninger's blend of vision and patience behind his offensive line makes him one of the toughest backs in the Pacific Conference to slow down. His consistency continues to drive Glencoe's success deep into league play.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sandy's defensive leader, Fredrickson, made his presence felt in a big way during the Pioneers' 39-6 win over Clackamas. Fredrickson recorded two crucial interceptions, returning them for a combined 51 yards, while also adding 4.5 tackles. On offense, he contributed two receptions for 34 yards and two carries for 32 more, finishing the night as one of the game's most active players. His versatility and leadership have been key to Sandy's strong conference showing.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Baker continues to impress as one of the state's top junior quarterbacks, delivering another big-time performance in West Linn's 38-16 victory over Lake Oswego. Baker threw for 217 yards and four touchdowns while also adding a rushing score, giving him five total on the night. His confidence and command of the offense have helped the Lions maintain their dominance in one of Oregon's toughest leagues. Baker's efficiency through seven weeks has solidified his spot among the state's elite passers.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sophomore quarterback Thomas continues to look ahead of his years as he led Willamette past previously unbeaten Dallas, 42-27. Thomas completed 18 of 26 passes for 301 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing elite accuracy and decision-making. His connection with his receivers has made Willamette's passing attack one of the most dangerous in the 6A ranks. With the Wolverines still unbeaten, Thomas' leadership and production are key reasons why they remain near the top of Oregon's standings.</p>
