His team uses him and another quarterback to help make things happen, but when it is Avent time to shine, he does just that. Kid has a strong arm, and he is accurate. He is also a 6-foot-2, 180-pound player. His ability to make plays in clutch situations really stood out to us. He made some mistakes in this game like any kid would, but when his team needed him the most, he continued to put the football where it needed to be. He is a really talented kid with the ability to make things happen when his team needs him to. We also like that he is able to run the football when he is in tough situations. We are going to keep a closer eye on Bivins as this season goes on. He is one of the quarterbacks in this class who we are going to label as dual threat players. He stepped up big for Mendenhall last season when his team needed a new man to take on the reigns of being the signal caller. Davis is going to be a stud for this program. We know that he can make things happen with his legs. We would love to see him at more camps during this offseason to evaluate his arm more.
