Dawson is a long-striding 2026 wide receiver that I am surprised the more in the NSIC hasn't caught wind of yet. He's a springy route-runner that can gain quick seperation and plenty of it when he utilizes his change of direction and athleticism. I have Dawson coming up my radar on our 2026 rankings due to the tape he's put up thus far this season, so he needs to be on more radars. Dawson and the Wall Eagles are my 11A favorites, so he is a name you will want to keep checking in for down the line this season.

Isaak has made most of his opportunities, logging thus far nearly 17 yards per catch at the midseason mark for the Rustlers offense. Isaak doesn't need much space to operate with his sizable vertical and has gotten twitcher in my eyes since summer with his route-running. It almost feels like Isaak's catch radius has gotten longer since I last saw it which is a good to see. The 6'4 185 pounder has one NAIA offer and could be a steal at the level as I have him as a solid D2 grade via our rankings.

One name from this group that I am surprised doesn't have his first offer as of yet is 2026 WR [player_tooltip player_id='848945' first='Karson' last='Borge'] of Aberdeen Central. The 6'1 170 pounder is a well-versed route-runner that from my eyes, looks even craftier on deep routes than from what we saw a season ago. He's one that you can develop in the weight room getting yards after contact, but Karson has the elite hands to not only finish thru contact, but runs a balanced route-tree in my eyes. Light D2 and Medium NAIA interest at the moment.

Riley is one that is another one you should see rise up our 2026 South Dakota board by our end of the season update. He's a fluid route-runner that has the sudden closing speed to erupt and make receptions in quite high traffic areas. He is one on this list thus far that has some of the best position flexibility you will find as the translation to being a linebacker at the next-level is another area Riley could have success. He seems like a prospect too that could be boost more physical hands if you need him to block at muliple positions.

We've talked about the speed that Oliver has plenty on our Dakotas site but there are other skillsets he is elevating in his senior season. He's developed as a slot receiver and learned how to utilze how springy he has become and turn down the jets to stop quick on his route adding a seperation element that has certainly risen on tape. If you watch the tape against Sioux Valley, you will this consistently as Oliver has gotten smoother with his hands and knows how to shrink in between the tacklers in short space. Minot State offered him over the summer and I surely think a good chunk of the NSIC would love his upside. Just a reminder, he ran a 10.48 100 meter dash this spring.
