He made a quick inside move for a sack.&nbsp; Another time he came around the corner for another sack.&nbsp; Batted down a pass.&nbsp; He also had multiple TFLs.&nbsp; Super star talent!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL [player_tooltip player_id='1883430' first='Bryce' last='Baxa'] (Yorkville – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Young defensive lineman at 6'2” 280 pounds.&nbsp; Good athlete that does a nice job of getting off blocks to make tackles in the backfield.&nbsp; Three technique defensive tackle with quickness and a frame to continue to grow.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL [player_tooltip player_id='1549620' first='Blake' last='Pohlman'] (Montini – 2029)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This freshman 6'3” 215 pound defensive end is definitely one to watch long term.&nbsp; Sets the edge and uses his hands to get off blocks.&nbsp; A lot of physical tools to be a player to watch long term as he is a good athlete with size.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL R'Mon George (Oak Lawn – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>George is an edge player that shows nice bend getting around the tackle.&nbsp; Burst off the ball on his first step.&nbsp; Also made a big play around the line of scrimmage.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL [player_tooltip player_id='1352301' first='Dominic' last='Jackson'] (Crete Monee – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson went up against Thornwood in week 4 and the defensive lineman impressed.  Such quickness off the ball getting in the backfield putting pressure on the QB along with getting TFL.  Burst off the snap.  Also caught a TD on the offensive side at the goal line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL [player_tooltip player_id='1184797' first='Tanner' last='Jacobs'] (Maroa Forsyth – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jacobs is a defensive tackle that plays with a high motor.&nbsp; Gets up field to make plays in the run game.&nbsp; As a guard on the offensive side he shows mobility and athleticism opening holes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL Noah Crandall (Harlem – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Crandall is a 6'2” 235 pound defensive end.&nbsp; First play of his tape from this week is him pushing the right tackle to ground with his hands then getting a sack.&nbsp; Snap in his hands for sure.&nbsp; He is a good pass rusher that is explosive off the snap.&nbsp; Racked up an array of sacks in this game chasing the QB all over the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB Ethan Albertson (Huntley – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Flies down the field making plays in the kick return game.&nbsp; As a linebacker he diagnoses plays well in the run game flowing to the ball to make the tackle.&nbsp; Sheds blocks.&nbsp; Core special teams guy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id='1743262' first='Kobe' last='Lewis'] (Ridgewood – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 5'9” linebacker is a tough defender that plays with instincts and really finds the ball carrier very well.&nbsp; Runs well sideline to sideline.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB Ashton Williams (Phillips – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams is a fluid corner that has nice footwork.&nbsp; Makes plays on the ball downfield.&nbsp; Form tackler on the outside in space.&nbsp; Smooth back pedal and reacts well to the play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB [player_tooltip player_id='1585119' first='Nick' last='Hankins'] (Belleville West – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Illinois commit is the top ranked defensive back in the class.&nbsp; He is a two way player for Belleville West.&nbsp; Shows off his speed, athleticism, and game changing ability as a receiver taking swing passes and going to the house.&nbsp; He has easy acceleration and speed downfield.&nbsp; Broke up one of the few passes thrown his way on a deep ball along with shielding off the receiver on another.&nbsp; Took it to the house on a kick off.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB Denzel James (Hinsdale South – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'0” press corner with good length does a nice job in coverage and flies to the ball making tackles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB Brady Jarvis (Hononegah – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Explosive kick returner taking one back to the house.&nbsp; Explodes to the ball to make tackle.&nbsp; Burst to the offensive player.&nbsp; Can play as a centerfielder as a free safety.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB [player_tooltip player_id='1663338' first='Kenyia' last='Benbow'] (Simeon – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The corner snatched the ball right out of the receivers grasp then took it the other way for a pick 6.&nbsp; Wraps up tackling down low.&nbsp; Can play physical at the line in press coverage.&nbsp; On the offensive side he is slippery with the ball in his hands after the catch.&nbsp; Tracks the ball well downfield.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB Jakub Maka (Lemont – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maka made one heck of a play running vertically at an angle after a receiver and proceeded to rip the ball right out of his hands after the offensive player made the catch.&nbsp; Also pursued a scrambling quarterback for a strip sack and recovered fumble.&nbsp; Flies to the ball and makes tackles in the open field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
