Liberty (4-0) vs Pinnacle (4-0)

The matchup that will shape the entire 6A Division and potentially the Open Division playoffs as the Liberty Lions will head to North Phoenix to face the Pinnacle Pioneers. Pinnacle proved dominant in their last game against Higley, winning 41-11. Liberty was also dominating against a very good ALA-Queen Creek team, winning 48-7. Both teams have incredible potent defenses that look to attack and disrupt the offense constantly. Pinnacle gave up their first points of the season to Higley last game, led by LB [player_tooltip player_id='884067' first='Aiden' last='Ramos'] who had double digit tackles and DB Cayden Cresswell who have 5 tackles and .5 a sack in that game. Pinnacle as a team got after the QB, combining for 6 sacks against Higley. Meanwhile Liberty's defense has only given up a total of 10 points as well against Arizona teams. They are led by efforts of LB Zeth Theus and two-way RB/LB TJ Fo'ilefutu who had 2 sacks in his last game vs ALA Queen Creek. Look for a defensive chess match, with both sides trying to grind out an edge until the final whistle.

ALA - West Foothills (3-1) vs Arcadia (4-0)

Big games coming up in 4A this week with this being the first major one as ALA-West Foothills Guardians will head to downtown Phoenix to face the Arcadia Titans. ALA - West Foothills is coming off the high of another great win against Independence, with the final being 47-22. Meanwhile Arcadia remains undefeated heading into this matchup as they were able to handily beat Deer Valley, winning 28-3. Both these teams feature two completely different styles of offense. ALA-West Foothills will be relying heavily on its rushing output from their feature back, RB Kenyon Rosenthall who is coming off a 193-yard rushing performance against Independence. While Arcadia will be looking to attack from the air with the combination of QB Zach Smith and his multitude of weapons in WR Ian Slater and WR Kooner Kammas. ALA Foothills will be led by defensive leader LB Hunter Cotten as he is coming off a 14 tackle and 3 sack game versus Independence and will be looking to create more chaos for this Arcadia offense.

Another set of 4A undefeated teams will collide under the Friday Night Lights as the Snowflake Lobos will head down to Tempe to face the Macros De Niza Padres. Snowflake continues to look unstoppable as they were able to soundly beat Catalina Foothills, 45-13. Macros De Niza was able to put up a shutout in their previous matchup aganist Poston Butte, 41-0. In their previous outing, Marcos de Niza's defense impressed, with LB Brian Irick piling up 15 tackles, DE Elian Pichardo recording 2 sacks and 8 tackles, and DB JD DuBose adding a pass breakup and forced fumble. This defense now faces RB Brenner Green, fresh off a three-touchdown performance against Catalina Foothills.
