He diagnoses plays in a hurry and arrives at the ball carrier with authority. His nonstop motor sets the tone for IC Catholic, and he continues to be the kind of linebacker you build a defense around.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='279386' first='Tommy' last='Thies'], DB, Fenwick (2026)</strong><br>Thies delivered a timely interception in a rivalry matchup that proved to be a turning point. His confidence in coverage and quick break on the football give Fenwick a reliable playmaker in the secondary. When the game is on the line, he has shown he's ready to step up and make something happen.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lincoln Kirk, LB, Pleasant Plains (2027)</strong><br>Kirk filled up the stat sheet with 14 tackles in his team's win. He was a consistent presence around the football, bringing down ball carriers in space and plugging gaps inside.
