As you look over the ranked athletes in the State of Washington you see numerous individuals who could end up playing at a higher level than where they are currently committed. There are other players who currently don't have an offer but could in the near future.

Referenced below are a few WA athletes who project at the Mid Major (Pac 12) OR FCS level. The new Pac 12 Conference is set to kick off in the 2026-27' season, featuring Oregon St, Washington St, Boise St, Colorado St, Fresno St, San Diego St, Texas St, and Utah St.

[player_tooltip player_id='726165' first='Jasiah' last='Denmark'] 26' CB Puyallup (Committed: Sacramento St)

I have the 3* CB Denmark ranked the #13 overall player in WA for the 2026 class. Credit to Sac State on getting his early commitment. That said I would be shocked if other Mid Major/Pac 12 type schools don't recruit him hard in the coming months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165398' first='Austin' last='Glivar'] 26' LB Sumner

I really like what Glivar brings to the table. The 6-2 220-pound backer is a winner and was a key contributor in Sumner's 4A title run last season. Portland St has offered and that would be a huge get for them, but I see others getting in the mix shortly. If he ends up in the Big Sky, look for him to be a multiyear all conference starter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589190' first='Garrett' last='Miller'] 26' LB Mead (Committed: Idaho St)

I would imagine the Bengals had a low-key party when they received Miller's early commitment. The reigning GSL Defensive POY is super legit in my opinion and will likely garner significant interest from other Pac 12 type schools. Give a lot to credit to the new DC at ISU Grant Duff who was a big hire for the program coming from Weber State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691667' first='Sylen' last='Kiesel-Kauhane'] 26' OLB Richland

The 3* recruit has a stock which continues to rise, coming off one of the most impressive off-season's of any athlete in the NW. The 6-4 215-pound OLB has offers from Idaho and Portland St but could be a late offer Pac 12 type guy if he continues his dominance. He went for 98 tackles last season and had 15 in week 1 of this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1544388' first='Shaun' last='Griffith'] 26' DE/DT Sumner

Griffith doesn't have prototypical size from a D line standpoint, but he is an unquestioned D1 talent. Credit to Montana for getting on him early and offering as the Grizzlies would be a great fit. He was the conference POY last season and one of only four athletes to earn all-state honors in Washington as an underclassmen.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568794' first='Drenden' last='Knaevelsrud'] 27' LB Mount Si

I really like everything about Knaevelsrud and see him being a double digit D1 offer athlete when all is said and done. He was the only Sophomore to earn all-conference honors in the 4A Kingco, but more importantly is 6-4 with impressive game speed at the LB spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='985355' first='Amosa' last='Masaniai'] 28' Safety/ATH Emerald Ridge

We've talked a lot about Masaniai already, who is ranked #9 overall for the 2028 class and currently sits with a Nevada offer. He was an all-conference selection as a freshman and will likely add a handful of offers in the coming months. The film speaks for itself.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165346' first='Shan' last='Jones'] 26' LB Mount Tahoma

I would consider the 6-3 210-pound LB a big-time sleeper. I don't know if he will be an FCS guy, but he has that type of potential. Mount Tahoma has been dominant early on going 2-0, while outscoring Camas and Yelm 91-22 over the first two weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589218' first='Jack' last='Pierce'] 26' DB Gonzaga Prep

Pierce's 1st team all-state teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1589207' first='Jacobe' last='McClelland'] and 6-3 180-pound DB [player_tooltip player_id='1589232' first='Jake' last='Young'] of Central Valley both earned 1st team all GSL honors, as did Pierce last year. Both McClelland and Young hold D1 offers, and I see him being in that conversation. He could be another guy where Big Sky's come in late.

[player_tooltip player_id='1555731' first='Jason' last='Armbruster'] 27' LB Mount Si

Very similar to his teammate Knaevelsrud in a lot of ways. The 6-4 215-pound OLB had an impressive sophomore campaign with 40+ tackles followed by an outstanding off season. I would expect FCS schools to make a move sooner than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='584705' first='Adonai' last='Ve'e'] 27' LB Kentwood

Some of the best film around. He's somewhat what of a tweener from a size standpoint, but his play on the field outweighs everything to me. His 90+ tackles and 21 tackles for a loss speak to his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1655958' first='Joseph' last='Mbock-Nlend'] 28' DT Eastside Catholic

Eastside has been impressive thus far, outscoring their first two opponents 99-10. Mbock-Nlend had a breakout freshman season and should be the beneficiary of having so much talent on their roster with universities constantly recruiting the school.
