Top Performers from Week 2 Friday Night Action

Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.   These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.   There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects. [player_tooltip player_id='1689601' first='Chase' last='Donnon'] (c/o 2026) Position: Quarterback School: Master's Academy Height/Weight: 6'1”, 185 lbs Current Season Stats (through Week 2): 16-27, 213 yards, 2 TDs; 109 QB rating   Evaluation: Donnon operates with confidence in the pocket, showing poise and accuracy when delivering the football. He has a quick release and throws with good timing, allowing receivers to make plays after the catch. He displays a strong command of the offense, efficiently moving the ball downfield. A steady competitor who can manage a game and keep defenses honest with his decision-making and his explosive athleticism. Has the ability to play multiple positions at the next level.   Jayden Timmon (c/o 2029) Position: Running Back School: Yulee High Height/Weight: 5'7”, 150 lbs Current Season Stats (through Week 2): 38 carries for 327 yards, 3 TDs; 1 reception for 19 yards   Evaluation: Timmon is an explosive young back with impressive production early in his career. He runs with excellent burst through the hole and shows natural vision to find daylight. Despite his size, he finishes runs with toughness and isn't afraid of contact. His quick feet and acceleration make him dangerous in space, and he already demonstrates the ability to be a consistent playmaker at the varsity level.   Enrique Ordonez (c/o 2027) Position: Running Back School: Nease High Height/Weight: 5'8”, 175 lbs Current Season Stats (through Week 2): 18 carries for 193 yards and 1 TD   Evaluation: Ordonez brings speed and physicality to the backfield, running with determination between the tackles and the quickness to bounce plays outside. His balance through contact allows him to extend runs, and he shows patience waiting for blocks to develop. A versatile ball carrier with upside as both a chain-mover and big-play threat. He throws a catchable ball with touch and shows good pocket awareness, keeping plays alive under pressure. His strong start to the season highlights his ability to lead the Ponte Vedra offense effectively and distribute the ball to multiple targets.
