Schmidt is showing that he can be a reliable possession receiver with the frame to continue growing into a tough matchup.</p>

He's shown he can stretch the field vertically and create after the catch, making him a dangerous threat every time he touches the ball. Columbia has leaned on his ability to produce in key moments.</p>

His size and body control make him tough to defend inside the 20, and he has already become a go-to option near the goal line. For a sophomore, his poise and ability to finish plays stand out. Bowen gives IC Catholic Prep another young receiver with a bright future.</p>
