Frosh QB [player_tooltip player_id='1906384' first='Brody' last='Peters'] looks the part of a next-level prospect and already looks primed to continue leading the Patriot's machine in the upcoming seasons. Physically, Brody already possesses next level traits with a 6'3", 185 pound frame and an arm talented beyond his age. He sees the field very well and makes smart, quick decisions with the ball. Peters also flashed his ability to keep the chains moving with his legs. Yasir is a versatile athlete who can play catch, throw, run, and play defense. Right now, his most significant impact comes at receiver, where he flashes as a crafty receiver who can route up defensive backs and is great after the catch. He is very twitchy in the open field and does a great job making defenders whiff on tackles. Tillman has completed 43 of 61 pass attempts for 707 yards and six touchdowns while also adding 90 yards and two touchdowns on the ground (12 carries). Melsheimer shines on tape with the arm talent to attack all levels of the field with ease. Before releasing the ball, Tillman does a good job scanning the defense pre-snap and can progress through his reads when his first target isn't available. Great placement, especially on some of his deep passes that fell right into the receiver's hands. One of them is sophomore linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1591358' first='Max' last='Erickson'], who currently leads the York defense with 38 total tackles, along with two TFLs and a sack. Watching his tape against Beatrice, I was impressed with his run defense, which showed that he can set the edge to eliminate outside runs and close on the ball fast enough to limit gains to minimal yardage. Strong tackler at the point of contact. He has a lengthy frame at 6'3" and will have time to continue filling out his frame for the next level. I have limited tape on Osborn, but it's hard to deny his impact when he's already recorded 20 tackles, six TFLs, 2.5 sacks, and an interception. Ashton already displays a versatile skill set that includes run defense, pass coverage, and even rushing the quarterback. Osborn also brings an aggressive mindset to the field, which drives him to finish plays and come up big in key moments.
