Four 2028 EDGE/OLBs To Keep An Eye On

I've compiled a list of four edge rushers/outside linebackers that should be on everyone's radar moving forward.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They all have the frame, speed, and quickness to be good players at the next level, but two stand out. [player_tooltip player_id='1178600' first='Lyric' last='Jackson'] from Concord Christian and [player_tooltip player_id='1801346' first='Taylen' last='Cisneros'] from Page jump out as two of the best prospects at their position in Tennessee.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two others also impressed me. He's not the biggest from a weight standpoint, but he's built well and has an extremely long body.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Jackson is a freak with bad intentions in the trenches. He's physical, has a high motor, a nice pass-rush and solid footwork. He's good against the run, but one of the best in Tennessee at sacking the quarterback. He has a nice frame at 6-foot-4 and space to fill out quite a bit of good weight. Nichols is explosive, quick, athletic and features solid bend, all qualities you want in an edge rusher.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">He has a nice pass-rush repertoire and the twitchiness to get around offensive linemen. Nichols is a good tackler and somebody who can help in the run game. He plays the outside linebacker role for them, but could easily walk up and be a true edge rusher if he wants. The sophomore has nice size and length with good athleticism for a linebacker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">He's twitchy and has a solid get-off while showcasing a good football mind. Cisneros has a nice eye, consistently crashing into the backfield to get a running back or hopping off his read to take down somebody on the outside. He has solid size at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, but should continue to grow into a legitimate Division I body. Henry has good tackling skills and seems to always find himself making a play in the backfield.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">He's quick off the line, which is good for his pass-rushing abilities. It also allows him to create many negative plays by catching the quarterback and running back off guard.
