Despite being undersized by traditional standards, he makes up for it with good pad level, quick hands, and the ability to anchor against bigger defenders. He finishes blocks with aggression and brings a high motor snap to snap. Lee brings a versatile skillset and violent playing style to the field, recently earning his first offer from Oklahoma Baptist. He's a true three down LB who can impact the game in multiple phases showing strong instincts and downhill run filling ability, athleticism when dropping into coverage, and explosiveness as a blitzer. Shows he can work through blockers to shed/disengage or use his speed to work around on his way to the ball carrier. Finishes tackles with hard contact and consistency. In coverage, he moves well in space, can read the QB's eyes, and play the ball in the air. Times out his blitzes well and crashes the LOS hard to pressure the QB off the edge or through interior gaps. Can line up on the LOS or as an H-back where he flashes athleticism, movement skills, and natural strength. Excels as a blocker, using his length, leverage, and force to seal edges and create running lanes. His frame gives him a natural advantage at the point of attack, and with added weight, he projects as a dominant in-line blocker at the college level. He's able to latch on and control opponents with good hand usage and drive his feet through contact. In the passing game, he shows reliable hands, a wide catch radius, and moves well in space for his size. His size and natural power allow him to create consistent movement at the LOS, whether drive blocking in the run game or anchoring in pass protection. He plays with a strong base, active hands, and finishes his blocks through the whistle. Does a good job staying engaged with defenders throughout the play.
