Offenses came out hot across the Metroplex during Week 1. While there were plenty of promising run games and battles in the trenches, what stood out most to me was the dynamic air attacks on display across the region. With talent and experience taking center stage, let's highlight several of the top senior signal-callers from the first week of ball in DFW.

The launching lefty helped the Eagles put together a dominant 33-point victory over Midland Legacy. He demonstrated precise accuracy and timing in the pocket, finishing the game 20/25 (80%) on passing attempts. Daoud contributed two passing touchdowns to Allen's 46-point total. Both TDs were 36-yarders, one as a seed down the middle of the field, and the other through a perfectly executed screen play. The FAU commit totaled 231 yards through the air and will look to stay hot for the Eagles' title hopes.

One of the best QBs in the country continued to showcase his dual-threat abilities in game 1 of the season, leading the Bobcats' offense to a 50-burger. Bentley picked apart the Bellville defense with both his arm and legs, showcasing his deep ball touch and acceleration out of the pocket. He should be in store for another statistically dominant season, already compiling 2 touchdowns, both passing and rushing. After a 65-yard rocket down the sideline on a free play on the first drive, there was no turning back for Bowe and his Bobcats. The future Sooner will step out for their home opener against La Vega this Friday.

Another dual-threat star that dazzled in Week 1, Bey picked up where he left off last season, dominating through the air and on the ground. Legend was explosive in his production for the Falcons, as all three of his touchdowns were 35+ yards. He showcased his elite elusiveness and all-around speed with two long touchdown runs. Bey also delivered a beautiful deep ball down the middle of the field for 6 after eluding pressure and changing his arm angle. The Tennessee commit totaled over 230 total yards and the three scores, wheeling the Falcons to a 51-0 route of Skyline.

Maybe the best offensive performance at the 6A level in Week 1, Richardson balled out for the Bulldogs with 5 total touchdowns. With 4 passing and 1 rushing, Jamion put on a clinic from the QB position, displaying elite poise and control of the game. Along with the five scores, Richardson completed 70% of his passes for over 240 yards. After a great start to the season, expect the Bulldogs' QB1 to continue to rise this year.

With brilliant tempo and consistent accuracy in and out of the pocket, Murphy kicked off the season with over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Baylor Bear pledge had a great feel for the pocket and excelled at avoiding and stepping up through pressure throughout the game. Quinn took what the defense gave him, delivering strikes down the field and outside the numbers, along with using his legs to extend plays downfield. The Warriors' offensive leader should be one of the most consistent gunslingers this season.

Imhoff led the Eagles' offense to a massive season-opening win against a big-time program in Westlake. Braeden thrived at reading the defense and zipping bullets over the middle of the field. The dynamic QB was loose and slinging it from in and out of the pocket, changing arm angles and launching it off his back foot with great accuracy. One of the best statistical Week Ones in the state, Imhoff compiled over 350 total yards and 3 TDs on 72% passing. The Lamar commit should be in store for a great senior season.
