Mosley has emerged as the engine of Southwest Christian's offense. At 6-foot, 220 pounds, he brings a physical running style between the tackles but has enough quickness to make defenders miss at the second level. His balance and leg drive allow him to power through arm tackles, and once he finds space, he shows the speed to finish runs.

Through five weeks, Mosley has already eclipsed 1,200 rushing yards, highlighted by an 8-touchdown performance in Week 5. He projects as a back who can handle a high volume of carries and wear down defenses over four quarters.

Powers has been one of the most productive backs in Texas over the past two seasons, and he's only elevating his game more as a senior. At 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, Powers runs with patience and vision, consistently finding creases and exploding through them with burst. He's a one-cut, north–south runner who can turn small gains into chunk plays thanks to his acceleration.

As a junior, Powers rushed for 2,224 yards and 23 touchdowns. Through five games in 2025, he's already surpassed 1,500 yards with 28 scores, putting him on pace for one of the best rushing seasons in recent memory. His recruitment has started to build with offers from UTEP, Navy, Air Force, and Lehigh. With his production and skill set, expect his list to continue growing as more college programs take notice.

Ozona is off to a 5-0 start, and a huge part of that success has been the play of Villarreal. At 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Villarreal has the frame and running style college programs covet. He's a downhill back with the strength to finish runs and the balance to absorb contact without losing momentum.

He rushed for 1,438 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior and is already closing in on those numbers with 1,424 yards through just five games. Villarreal thrives in a power run scheme, but his ability to get vertical quickly also makes him dangerous in spread looks. His combination of size, toughness, and production should make him one of the more intriguing 2026 backs for recruiters to follow.

Witherspoon entered the season with high expectations after rushing for 1,627 yards and 25 touchdowns last fall, and he has not disappointed. At 5-foot-10, 185 pounds, he plays with excellent pad level and a compact build that makes him difficult to bring down. He shows good short-area quickness and the ability to cut decisively, while his burst allows him to hit open lanes with authority.

His start to 2025 has included a pair of massive outings, 304 yards and 2 touchdowns against Rusk in Week 2, followed by 312 yards and 5 scores against Pottsboro in Week 3. Witherspoon is the type of back who can create chunk plays while also grinding out tough yardage, giving him strong college upside.

Morris has established himself as one of the most versatile playmakers in the state. He combines elite quickness and vision with a polished skill set as both a runner and a receiver. Defenses struggle to contain him in space, and he consistently shows the ability to turn routine touches into explosive plays.

Through five games, Morris has already rushed for 1,219 yards. In his most recent outing, he put together one of the top performances of the season: 375 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground, along with 113 receiving yards and 2 more scores. Committed to Stanford, Morris profiles as a versatile back at the next level who can impact the game as both a rusher and a pass catcher.
