Beehive Buzz: Live Look- Lehi JV

Lehi is a perennial powerhouse and they made waves this offseason in the transfer portal, but what do they have in the pipeline? Are there future stars coming up through their program? Here are some key players to know for the future.    Malosi has great size and has a frame to continue to add 20 lbs of good weight on him. He projects as a true alpha receiver. He is good off the line, has great footwork for his class, and moves exceptionally well. He is an athletic mover who has good quickness and burst in his game. He creates separation with ease and moves well laterally. He is strong at the catch point and does well with high-pointing the ball. He does well creating after the catch and has good physicality to his game. He is going to be a red zone monster with his frame, and he already knows how to use his frame to shield his defender and make contested catches much easier for him. He is an exceptional talent and is a Power-Four recruit, and has all the tools you want to see in a multi-year starter at the next level.     Cluff is a player who has stood out the times I've seen Lehi live in practices and at JV games. He has a knack for finding ways to get open. He moves well, displays good footwork, and is strong at the catch point. There are plenty of traits to like with him.     Kyson is a twitchy athlete who moves well laterally and does a good job of creating with the ball in his hands. He is quick and is a player who can win short to intermediate and be schemed up.     Sam showcases good vision and has a good burst. He is a willing runner between the tackles and does well in holding up to initial contact. He has good hands and is a player who can make a defender miss and get to the edge.     Barney is a player with great size and frame. He's a defensive tackle who has a frame and playstyle to do well against the run and should mix in next year and play a big role on the defensive line unit. He moves well, is hard to move off his line ,and he's going to be a player that'll make noise next year.     Briggs is earning valuable reps after a year-long camp battle for the starting job. He is a signal caller who does well in keeping the offense in rhythm and ahead of the chains. He does well in getting to his second read. He throws a good intermediate ball and keeps the ball out of danger.    That was our look at the JV squad.
