2027 Rankings: Athlete Stock Risers/New Names

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the Prep Redzone Illinois 2027 Rankings being expanded to 250 prospects there are a ton of new names that have emerged along with prospects that elevated their stock.&nbsp; Here we look at those prospects in&nbsp;<strong>2027 Rankings: Athlete Risers/New Names</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Antijuan Jones (Romeoville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fun prospect to watch here.&nbsp; The 5'8" 158 pound athlete impacts in a number of areas.&nbsp; Offensively he is a weapon making plays on reverses and jet sweeps.&nbsp; Can also line up in the backfield where he runs well in between the tackles. Runs hard. Explosive kick returner that makes plays down the field with long gains. Defensively he is an outside linebacker that blitzes very well coming off the edge.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1676937' first='Cooper' last='Childers'] (Bloomington)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Childers is an athlete at 6'1".&nbsp; As a wide receiver he sets up routes well and is a jump ball threat down the field and in the endzone.&nbsp; Solid return gut.&nbsp; As a defensive back he can play corner or safety.&nbsp; Cuts routes for picks and makes plays on the ball.
