Week Zero Predictions, Prospects to Watch and Potential X-Factors

<p>Week Zero is here! In these weekly reports, we will predict a game in every classification. We will highlight multiple prospects to watch. We will also identify a couple of X-Factors that players could utilize to bring their team over the top.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Predictions:</h2>   <p>7A: Bentonville over Tulsa Union (OK)</p>   <p>6A: Greenwood over Bentonville West</p>   <p>5A: Searcy over Batesville</p>   <p>4A: Heber Springs over Pottsville</p>   <p>3A: Bismarck over Mansfield</p>   <p>2A: Conway Christian over Hazen</p>   <p><strong><em>Edwards 2025 Record: 0-0</em></strong></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Prospects to Watch:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1701859' first='TJ' last='Logan'] is an athletic linebacker who we could see break out this season. His team faces off against Joe T. Robinson this week. Logan plays with a high motor, showcasing his quickness to chase down ball carriers from behind. He is a sideline-to-sideline player, demonstrating his ability to chase down ball carriers. Nelson is adept at containing the edge. He forces plays into traffic with a good one-arm extension. He also maintains lateral movement along the LOS. I expect him to take a major leap this fall. We've seen him in person at our camps and during his time at Marion. Jackson displays good acceleration and foot quickness off the snap. He can blow past defenders vertically with good foot speed. He shows good hand-eye coordination. His body control allows him to adjust mid-route. He can catch passes away from his body or against contest with strong hands at the catch point. We saw him in person this off-season, and he's impressive on and off the field. <em><strong>His X-factor is his accuracy.</strong></em> He attacks the short-to-intermediate levels of the field with solid ball placement. Slepecki can place the ball near the boundary efficiently. If he can put his receivers in position to make plays post-catch, they'll take the win over Tulsa Union. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Cole_Slepecki/status/1959416830193189214 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='866986' first='Mitchell' last='Polk'] returns as the starter once again and leads his team against Episcopal in week zero. <strong><em>His </em></strong><span style="margin: 0px;padding: 0px"><em><strong>X-factor is his experience.</strong></em> Polk has seen <span>a lot</span> of defenses and is surely more comfortable over time. His decision-making alone will help win this first-game matchup.
