Teams and Prospects That Could Shake Up Their Conference

<p>Week zero kicks off the 2025 regular season this week. In this report, we look at multiple players and teams who could change the tide for their team's or conference's results.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Teams to Watch:</h2>   <p><strong>Little Rock Central: </strong></p>   <p>The Tigers have gained key transfers, including [player_tooltip player_id='413517' first='Anthony' last='Kennedy'], [player_tooltip player_id='1251945' first='Bryson' last='Kennedy'], [player_tooltip player_id='1678832' first='Tristian' last='West'] and a lot more this off-season. With these additions, the team could shock the state. They may also slow down some of the dynasties of 7A.</p>   <p><strong>Searcy:</strong></p>   <p>Searcy is coming off a seven-win season and has a long list of young talent in the state. If those 2028s and up can impact Friday nights, the Lions could jump. They might contend for a 5A Central title.</p>   <p><strong>Ashdown:</strong></p>   <p>Ashdown is a team we could see get back to its winning ways in 2025. They have 15 returning starters and a lot of young talent. Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1655900' first='Bryson' last='French'] looks to aid and lead the Panthers. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Players to Watch:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1849068' first='Donnell' last='King'] recently earned his first offer from North Alabama last month. The young Sophomore prospect could be a key and impact prospect on the defensive trenches. King is quick off the snap with solid UOH to shed and pressure the pocket. If he can generate pressure at the line of scrimmage, he could help his defense. He's versatile and can be implemented and schemed around. Walker displays good contact balance, leg drive, and lower body strength as he can absorb contact and break tackles. He showcases a quick first step, allowing him to burst through tackles and attack upfield quickly. He demonstrates good post-snap vision when identifying running lanes. He's patient behind the LOS as he follows his blockers. As a receiver, his route tree is extensive compared to others, and he can get upfield quickly post-catch, becoming a YAC threat. Elsea is their starting tight end, long snapper, and defensive end. The senior will need to contune his path and lead the Lions. He's athletic, quick off the snap, and can catch against the contest.
