Some 3A Performers to Know

Let's take a look at some of the key players in the classification.    Weston has good size and will continue to grow into his frame. He stands tall in the pocket and has good processing speed. He's been an accurate passer and has showcased the ability to get to his second read. He throws with good ball placement and will only get better as the year goes on.     Crowley came up big for Cedar City, and they came away with a close win on Friday night. He's been a player who consistently gets open throughout the season and should get an uptick in targets. He proved to be a reliable target Friday night.     Mortensen has been effective this season and backed up his Junior season. He's been a big-time target for his team, and he's done well getting open and creating after the catch. He's a player who will be leaned on this year in the offense.     Ty has done a fantastic job being a two-way player this year. He's been explosive as a receiver and adds an extra dimension when targeted. He's a threat to take it to the house with each rep. He should continue to be a factor on both sides of the ball.     Mason earned the job this season and he's showcased why. He's been exceptional this season in the classification. He is progressing at a good clip, shows good pocket navigation, and throws with good ball placement. He's been a signal caller who will dot the field and create stress on a defense. He's done a good job this season and will look to continue his ascent up the rankings.     Thurston has done a good job developing his skillet set over the offseason and he's a player that can be used in multiple ways. He's effective at creating on his own with the ball in his hands and is someone who will win on the short to intermediate routes. He'll have a bigger role in the offense as the year goes on.
