It's officially game week in the Metroplex, and the lights are about to shine bright over some of the Class of 2026's national stars. After providing plenty of individual player coverage for the rising seniors, it's worth noting the dynamic duos present in the region. After a connection consisting of a top 3 QB and WR highlight the '25 class, DFW continues to produce elite duos this year. Let's check out a few of these terrific tandems.

One of the top signal-callers in the entire country, Bentley is a dynamic dual-threat QB that can shred defenses at all levels. The leader of the state champion Bobcats' offense thrives at changing arm angles and delivering passes into tight windows with touch or velocity. Bowe has a great sense for the flow of the game, consistently deciphering when to step up in the pocket, roll out, or take off downfield for 6. He is a true threat out of the backfield, with smooth strides and solid overall speed. Bentley's accuracy and arm strength when throwing off his back foot are remarkable, allowing him to extend plays and open up new passing lanes. It will be tough to outdo an undefeated season that included over 4,200 total yards and 63 touchdowns, but expect the Oklahoma Sooner commit to dominate again during his senior campaign.

Bentley's favorite red-zone target is a hybrid and physical pass catcher in Villarreal. Wyatt possesses the ideal frame of a tight end at the next level, but flashes production as a wideout as well. He displays a great release and solid route tree for a big man, showcasing the ability to take the top off the secondary or find a crease for the first down. Villareal's hands prove to be both soft as a receiver and powerful in run blocking. Wyatt loves to block for his QB as well, constantly demonstrating his high motor by finishing plays downfield. After nearly 500 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior, the versatile TE should be in store for many more trips to the endzone this season as he prepares to take his talents to the Pittsburgh Panthers.

After waiting his turn during year one with the Eagles, Howell has now been handed the keys to this explosive offense for his senior year. Legend thrives at throwing the ball with great accuracy and touch at all three levels. He does a great job at placing the ball just outside the reach of defenders and hitting his receivers in stride. Though possessing a dual-threat skillset, Howell also excels at standing strong in the pocket and delivering strikes downfield under pressure. While legend has little game experience heading into the season, he has the skillset, leadership, and talent around him to be one of the best QBs in the state and help lead DeSoto to the promised land. Now that he is officially at the helm, his recruitment is set to take off this season.

Reclassifying from the 2027 class, Feaster is arguably the best receiver in the country and should make life easy for Howell in his first year starting. "Boobie" is an all-around elite pass catcher with electric downfield and after-the-catch ability. His 4.5 speed, along with polished footwork, allows him to dominate DBs off the snap. Feaster's release at the line of scrimmage looks ready for the collegiate level, which he combines with great acceleration to thrive at reeling in deep balls down the sideline. The dynamic playmaker also possesses great body-balance-control and change of direction. His QB will be given the opportunities to flourish with deep balls and check downs, establishing the Legend to Boobie connection as one of the best in the class. Feaster is gearing up for a monster senior year as he prepares to play for USC at the next level.

Another young Legend of QB, Bey is a dynamite stick out of the backfield that can take the life out of defenses using his arm, legs, and physicality. Bey resembles an all-time DFW quarterback in Kyler Murray. While not possessing the largest of frames, the Falcons' dynamic signal-caller plays with great strength, constantly breaking off long runs thanks to both his speed and power. Bey also excels at sifting in and out of the pocket and firing bullets downfield, utilizing a quick release and an array of arm angles. Legend has as much two-way production as you're going to find across the country, accumulating over 1,400 yards passing, 1,900 on the ground, and 41 total touchdowns last season. Recently committing to the Tennessee Vols, the 10-6A Offensive MVP will ball out again for the Falcons during his senior year.

Otieno was Bey's go-to receiver in 2024, showcasing a combination of burst, top-end speed (10.8 100m), and great hands. Elijah lines up all over the line of scrimmage, as he displays the ability to take the top off the secondary or get the rock in gadget plays and break tackles downfield. The dynamic speedster does a great job of tracking deep balls and reeling in contested catches. Otieno also demonstrates great vision as a ball carrier and a stellar ability to make defenders miss, constantly utilized in screen and end-around concepts. Elijah takes a lot of pressure off of his QB by opening the field for him to use his legs. After a junior campaign that produced over 850 total yards and 11 touchdowns, Otieno will elevate his and Bey's names with an electric 2025. Elijah has pledged to play his college ball for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
