The latest Class of ‘27 rankings update has come and gone now. I know I'm a little late with this report, but I still wanted to provide some extra coverage. Some stats revolving around this update include over 25 new players added, as well as over 70 prospects that received a higher ranking.

Since some of the newcomers have already been revealed, this report will highlight the stock risers. With over 70 players moving up it's safe to say there was a lot of shuffling around in the July update. Amongst all the movement these were some of the highest stock risers. See where they're ranked ahead of the ‘25 campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612738' first='Max' last='Holman'] - Liberal, 5'10”, 165, DB

This group of six begins with Holman of Liberal. Holman was just one of two players that saw an increase of over 200 spots. He's now the 73rd ranked prospect overall and the 11th ranked defensive back in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588356' first='Weston' last='Jackson'] - Derby, 6'3”, 250, OL

The Derby Panthers are well represented toward the top of the rankings, as they now have seven players ranked in the Top 50. Jackson's huge increase in rank helped make that happen. Like Holman, Jackson also climbed over 200 spots in this update to become the 29th ranked player overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1609452' first='Karsyn' last='Wright'] - Weskan, 5'11”, 160, ATH

Even as a sophomore Wright solidified himself as one of the top small-school prospects in the state. He's continued to put in work this offseason and as a result he earned a spot inside the Top 100. Wright now sits at No. 80 overall and is the 8th ranked athlete in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1610918' first='Sebastian' last='Bentley'] - Rose Hill, 5'9”, 150, ATH

Another athlete that received a significant increase in rank was Bentley of Rose Hill. Bentley just missed out on the Top 100, but he without a doubt has the potential to become a Top 100 player this season. For now he sits at No. 102 overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530379' first='Ray' last='Logan'] - Valley Center, 5'11”, 155, WR

The wide receivers are shaping up to be one of the top position groups in this class. Logan is one to remember this season after he shined last year as a sophomore. He's now the 10th ranked wideout in the class and the 63rd ranked player overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1585528' first='Dane' last='Becker'] - McPherson, 5'11”, 165, RB

Last year [player_tooltip player_id='1529989' first='Ashton' last='Malm'] emerged as a breakout player for McPherson, and this fall folks should look for [player_tooltip player_id='1585528' first='Dane' last='Becker'] to be McPherson's next breakout star. Becker rose over 130 spots to No. 94 overall and is the 10th ranked running back in the class.
