Wynston Weiler - QB 2026
Second year signal-calling starter Weiler came out strong leading his team and had a nice first game completing 11 of 16 throws for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns on the day, showing his accuracy and decision making ability. The 6'1" 195 senior did a great job leading his team on the day and answering when McCluer North scored with scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='1602821' first='Hassan' last='Robinson'] - RB 2028
I saw the 5'7" 155 sophomore get some game action last year as a freshman and could see the potential he had back then. In his first game of the 2025 season he came away as his team's leading rusher with 91 yards and added two touchdowns on the day. Robinson is fast and elusive, but he also showed good durability and toughness in short yardage situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1187164' first='Arondo' last='Irving'] - LB 2027
This tough and physical middle linebacker has been a tackling machine for the Red Devils since he was a freshman starting on varsity. He finished against the Stars as his teams leading tackler with 9 and made plays all game shedding blockers and fighting off opponents to make plays,

[player_tooltip player_id='691332' first='Christian' last='Funches'] - S 2026
Chaminade's second leading tackler on the day is the senior safety Funches, who has been playing varsity there since he arrived his freshman year. The 6'2" 185 playmaker is rangy and can cover a lot of ground to cover against the pass, but is also very physical and does a great job sniffing out run plays and making tackles.

Sebastian Vujevic -DE 2026
The surprise of the game for me was the play of the 6'1" 200 senior defensive end Vujevic. He was very active and showed a good motor and first step coming off the edge to get into the backfield. That translated into a very productive day of 6 tackles and 2 sacks against the Stars to help keep them in check.
