8-3A: Teams Breakout Candidate

<p>Arkansas high school football will start in a few weeks. This report will cover the potential breakout candidates for each team in 2025.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fordyce:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1675928' first='Vincent' last='Stroud'] first caught our eye at our combine in May. He's quick, decisive, and has impressive power. He utilizes good burst off the snap to beat the OL on the edge or shoot inside, employing his hands to swipe off their punches and pressure the pocket. Norman displays solid read and react ability, allowing him to read the quarterback's eyes and diagnose plays. He exhibits a quick break on the ball, demonstrating solid COD and lateral quickness. He's athletic, lengthy with good contact balance to break through tackles. He plays with a high motor to chase down ball carriers. Kinney displays a quick first step, allowing him to read and react effectively. He attacks downhill against the run with good angles while staying square. He will create for yards after contact due to good contact balance and leg drive. Cooper looks for contact as he is a strong gap runner. He is a tough quarterback who can stand in the pocket and take hits while delivering the football with poise. Sexton demonstrates the ability to reset his feet when he is forced outside the pocket and throw on the run efficiently. He's the top linebacker on Drew Central. He utilizes his athletic ability to cover the entire field and stick with the opposition in pass coverage. He's a two-gap penetrator with a solid mixture of power and strength. Jones is stout and will clog up running lanes.
