Up and down the Prep RedZone Class of 2026 rankings are players who are extremely well positioned to make every moment of their senior year count.

From practices to games to recruiting visits to a litany of postseason honors, there's no shortage of star power ready to flex its collective muscles. Considering a larger-than-normal number of athletes who have already verbally committed, the potential for waves around the rest of the Top 100 overall is quite high.

For every [player_tooltip player_id='212416' first='J'Zavien' last='Currence'] (South Carolina), [player_tooltip player_id='1165753' first='Tre' last='Aiken'] (North Carolina State) and [player_tooltip player_id='473009' first='Jeremiah' last='Favorite'] (Michigan State), there are plenty of others looking to parlay their final high school opportunity into the right college fit.

We believe this list is a good place to start.

Any and/or all of these 10 players have the chops to stand out from the start of the season on Friday right on through into everything December holds in the Palmetto State.

[player_tooltip player_id='473021' first='Caden' last='Ramsey'] DB/WR Cross

Ramsey (pictured) is one of the biggest reasons the Trojans are strong contenders to again reach the Class A state final. He's been there before, of course, as Cross fell to perennial powerhouse Abbeville in last year's championship. But the sheer physical difference between the 6-foot-5 Ramsey and nearly any of his positional peers at defensive back (13 interceptions last year) or receiver (40 receptions, 749 yards, nine touchdowns) is vast.

[player_tooltip player_id='473010' first='Michael' last='Boulware'] LB, Gray Collegiate

Boulware has had to deal with the side effects of his transfer from Spring Valley (after his freshman season) in more ways than one. When Gray was banned from the 2024 playoffs due to an eligibility issue, it meant the normal one-year transfer navigation looked to take more like two. But as a senior, the noise around Gray is on the field. That's a good thing for Boulware. This year, it could all come together in one glorious run for him and the rest of the Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1662325' first='Dontrell' last='Wilson'] DL, Camden

The Class 4A Lower State field looks like it's taken a nice step forward, and the playoffs should be a lot of fun from an outsiders perspective. What we also know is that Camden has the types of pieces that could propel the Bulldogs to another nice run of their own. The longer Wilson is on football fields this fall, the more impact he's going to make. We wouldn't be shocked to see him sail on past the 20 tackles for loss he had as a junior, as at times he's downright unblockable.

[player_tooltip player_id='1592182' first='Terence' last='Johnson'] WR, Oceanside Collegiate

Johnson was relatively quiet in the Class 3A title victory over Belton-Honea Path last year, and by that, we mean he “only” caught five passes for 57 yards and a touchdown. He had bigger games before then, and he's going to have a few more after. Oceanside has a true pass-first style of play, and Johnson will have opportunities to impact games early; there's a chance more than a few of them are going to be affected by running clocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='473002' first='Cameron' last='McMillon'] QB, South Pointe

On paper, the Stallions are the most loaded team in all of Class 4A ball. And while that's saying something, it's also clouded up the recruiting focus for some of its players, maybe none more than McMillon. He's a three-year varsity starter between his time in Rock Hill and his previous home (Fairfield Central). But don't allow everything South Pointe is bringing to the table let you forget about McMillon. He's got a monster right arm and is going to use it throughout the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165076' first='Marcus' last='Henderson'] LB, Berkeley

We've said it before: Henderson is going to have a hard time hitting the 125 tackles he put up as a sophomore or the 122 he had last fall. That's the joy of him having much more established help on the defense than he's ever had. But what he can do amid all the support is maximize his playmaking ability to include so much more than just putting opposing ball carriers on the ground. Henderson is still the quarterback of this defense, and his play speaks for itself.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251916' first='Malcolm' last='Gaston'] OL, North Augusta

The move to center puts Gaston into an entirely different recruiting realm than he already found himself. And while a number of other linemen in the state are still soaking in the attention from their commitments, Gaston's attempting to find the right fit for himself. The motivation he has - and can exhibit from the middle of the line - will be a difference maker for not only him, but an offense breaking in a new quarterback and receivers. It makes Gaston's ceiling as high as its ever been.

[player_tooltip player_id='816740' first='Marcus' last='Cann'] ATH, Bamberg-Ehrhardt

The Chanston Crosby era at Bamberg is officially over, with the quarterback off to the college ranks. What happens next? Go ahead and call it like it is: This is Cann's team for the next four months. The do-it-all playmaker can take over games with carries, and catches, tackles and interceptions, kickoff returns and punt blocks. He's not alone, of course, and the Red Raiders are another small-class team to watch closely. But as long as Cann's on the field, he's a touchdown threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='568697' first='Stone' last='Furrey'] WR, Dutch Fork

Furrey is on his third school in as many years, and after spending his sophomore season as a safety at Gaffney and his junior year leading Chapin in receptions, he's more than set to blow up as a senior with the Silver Foxes. Aside from getting some expected extra games come November and maybe even December, Furrey has clicked with new Dutch Fork quarterback Jaxon Knotts and has given the offensive staff every reason to call his number over and over in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579733' first='Walker' last='Kelley'] LB/TE, TL Hanna

The Yellow Jackets have monster plans for Kelley this fall, and most of it stems back to everything he showed as a junior. Once thought to be a safety, Kelley just kept growing into the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder he now is. And on the outside of the middle of Hanna's defense, we could start to see a player no one saw coming even a season ago. He's got blitz packages, can cover in space and has no issue delivering a wallop when necessary.
