Posted a six-minute highlight tape on Hudl, fully encapsulating his junior year at Columbus HS. Tape exhibits a lot of what you'd expect from a 170+ tackle recorder. Stationed in a 4-3 defense that likes to move their backers around, Brody Vinklarek is an exceptional piece to move between gaps pre-snap. Can align head-up in the A or B gaps, can play a true MIKE role if needed. Vinklarek's tape proves he can play at the LOS, coming off the edge as an up man to crash down in pursuit of the run. The large number of tackles shouldn't make Vinklarek an automatic run-stuffing one-trick pony, however. There's nuance to his game thanks to collegiate-level instincts and discipline. Great timing on blitzes between the tackles, great pursuit angles. Has a few PBUs and zone-coverage reps to uncover on tape, yet I think his best asset to a collegiate program is likely his front-seven alignment versatility. Great backer here who should be ranked on our site.

Posted a three-minute Hudl tape back in January. Carruthers might be up ten pounds since then, Hudl says playing weight was 190, which is a good thing. First rep has this 6'2 defender split out covering the outside slot man, not an alignment I expected turning on the tape. Has some playmaking to his game, as his tape demonstrates he can knock footballs loose from BCs, as well as intercept balls 15+ yards downfield. Can be the fifth LOS defender in shifted fronts, Columbus coaches must have fun deploying Carruthers all throughout the defense. An edge-setting capable OLB too, I love his lower body strength, which makes him a viable lead-block initiator. Columbus can go into each Friday night knowing they'll get the most out of their backer tandem in Carruthers and Vinklarek.

Posted a five-minute tape on Hudl back in early February. A capable scorer from anywhere out. Witnessed taking ten-yard outs, bubble screens, and KORs the distance. Fisher has the natural playmaking skills necessary to create plays without the help of offensive schemes getting him open. Primaries as an outside lane target, yet his route tree deep. Many of his scores come after nines and/or posts, he's a deep threat with YAC ability underneath 15 yards. Love his release, I can tell he has a strategy/game plan he wants to work with each rep I watch on tape. Fisher has a clear understanding of leverage, as a deep threat, this is absolutely vital, especially if we are projecting you to play Power Four football in college. Quite the weapon.

Posted a four-minute tape on Hudl back in October. Primarily plays DE in a four-down lineman front. Best way to describe this young man is straight plain disruptive. Great vision through blockers, has a great feel for the flow of an offense. Looks like a grown man in terms of build. Great pursuit angles to the ball carrier post-shed. Likely a collegiate backer, not sure how refined his pass-rush moves are, not sure if he projects to EDGE/DE at his current stature. That's a note for a later time, as this is clearly one hell of a front-four player. Love his discipline off the edge in reps where he's left unblocked, he's well-coached here. Great lower back and hip strength, once he digs his cleats into the ground, it's likely he's going to win the rep. Yet another fantastic front-seven defender that opposing offenses are going to have to account for. Sutton has some promising reps at back too, this is likely why he has such a good understanding of gap scheme and offensive flow, these reps go hand-in-hand.

A ferocious right tackle prospect who shows off one of the better get-offs for an offensive lineman that I've seen at his size. Quinn gets out of his stance like his hair's on fire. The best thing is, I love Quinn's attention to assignment locating. Whether it be the backside backer, the MIKE, the playside EDGE man, whoever Quinn is assigned to block, he gets off the snap and gets to his matchup in a hurry. Great trait out of your RT, especially in an offense that wants to pull backside guards and tackles into holes created by Quinn. I applaud the thought here by the Columbus coaching staff. Nasty finisher too, has to be fun to cut on the tape after Friday nights to see Hemphill-Woods and Quinn destroying/flattening kids left and right. Quinn's tape had me juiced up, hope his recruitment picks up in time. Have to add that Quinn has impressive IDL reps on tape too, this is worth noting to any coaches who might be reading.

Hicks's tape starts off with two interceptions, one of which was a well-played inside sit on a corner route in the end zone, Hicks showed off great ball skills to reel this one in. Second pick came with Hicks back tracking to his third of the field to catch a floater, good ball-tracking skills here. A willing tackler from what I can tell, Hicks excels when keeping things in front of him. Great hands and footwork on in-breaking routes when aligned 6-8 yards off, great diagnosing of screens in front of him too. Shows off a back pedal on tape occasionally, love the lack of false steps. I want to see him run downfield a bit more, how does he handle boundary speed? Either way, this is a rankable DB on our site moving forward.

Picked up his first offer back in January (UTSA), Hemphill-Woods has steadily stayed hot on the recruiting trail, picking up offers from Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Liberty, South Florida, Houston, Kansas State, and Illinois.

The recruit with the most buzz surrounding his name. A bit surprised to see just a minute's worth of reps on tape, I'm out of the loop as to why Hemphill-Woods's tape is a bit limited. That being said, the reps inside said tape are phenomenal. I imagine KHW is camping well, which gives an explanation to why his recruitment has picked up so quickly throughout the last six months. Hudl tape shows fantastic balance and movement skills for a player of his size. Hemphill-Woods is a mammoth of a lineman who can move and maintain pulling momentum to obliterate kids in his path. A young man this size getting out in front of backs and mauling defenders in his path is certainly noteworthy, yet it's reps like the one at the 00:16 mark that make his Power Four projection make complete sense. Hemphill-Woods was witnessed down-blocking as the second man in a combo block, flattening the IDL and moving on to the second level and seamlessly sealing off a backer. These are the type of reps that have P4 coaches picking up the phone. Unreal power behind his punches and hips, I can see a Power Four school thinking of lining up KHW on the other side of the football too. Needs to be ranked on our site ASAP.
