A tough, hard-running back with size and power at 5-foot-11 200-pounds, Jones is a tackle-breaking back and one of the top returning running backs in the Savannah area. He's a down-hill runner but has a shifty running style that allows him to make defenders miss as well. He's coming off a really strong sophomore season where he ran the ball 84 times for 549 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 6.5 yards per carry. Look for him to have an even bigger junior season if he continues to progress and develop. He's now ranked as the No. 30 RB and the No. 242 overall prospect in the state.

One of the top returning 2027 backs south of Atlanta, Moor is a dynamic back with impressive balance, toughness, and the ability to bounce off defenders and pick up yards after initial contact. He's coming off an outstanding sophomore season in 2024 where he ran for 622 yards on 73 carries and seven touchdowns, rushing for an impressive 8.5 yards per carry. He was his team's leading rusher last season and should see his numbers only increase next fall as a junior. He's now ranked as the No. 36 RB prospect in the state for the 2027 class.

One of the top returning running backs in Northwest Georgia, Frost is a strong, physical back who runs hard behind his pads while bringing above-average speed to the Ringgold offense. He can run between the tackles with the ability to score from anywhere on the field when he gets in the open field. He's a guy who can put the offense on his back and has a chance to be one of the area's top backs once again this fall as a junior. According to Prep Redzone, Frost is now the No. 38 running back prospect in the state.

A sleeper running back in North Fulton to keep an eye on this fall, DiPiertro is a productive back coming off a big sophomore season for Johns Creek where he ran for over 650 yards during the 2024 season. He's quick, shifty, shows good vision, and runs hard at the end of runs. He shows good burst and elusiveness on tape and has a chance to have a giant season for the Alpharetta Raiders in 2025. Don't be surprised if he's one of the more productive backs in the region this fall. He was an easy addition to the latest rankings, debuting as the No. 43 running back in the state for his class.

Another physical, hard-running back with power and deceptive speed, Darden is one of the top returning 2027 backs in the Athens area bound for a really productive junior season this fall. As a sophomore last season, Darden gave Oconee County a dependable No. 2 option in the backfield as he ran for 557 yards and nine touchdowns in just eight games. He hit the 100-yard mark twice and ran for at least one touchdown in five of his eight games. He's now ranked as the No. 44 running back prospect in the state.
