McGrath is a good outside receiver who just knows how to play. He's physical and uses his frame well, which makes him tough to cover. He can high-point the ball and has long arms that give him a big catch radius. He's already put up 103 career catches for 1,454 yards and 12 TDs, so the production is there. I like how confident he looks going up for the ball, and I think he's got a lot more left to show.

Cooper is a big, impressive body up front who does everything you want to see. He's got a big frame, plays through the whistle, and has incredible natural strength that jumps out right away. He moves well for his size and doesn't lose balance when working in space. He's then good at dropping back and working in pass pro. He was a big part of Decatur Central's success up front and played a part in their state title run.

Townsend is coming off a historic type of season and looked good doing it. He's got fantastic vision and patience in terms of letting his blocks develop. He carried the ball just under 350 times and averaged over 6 YPC. His 2150 rushing yards were 3rd in the state, and he added 25 TDs with that. I like that he's got a good combination of speed, strength, and vision all in a frame that can hold up. It's hard not to be impressed with him and what he brought to the table last year.

Penzoil will be going into year 3 under center, and he's started to show some real flashes and potential this year. He's got good arm talent and can make the throws you need to keep an offense moving. The big thing for him now is becoming more consistent and trusting his reads. When he's on, you can see the upside right away, and if he keeps tightening up the details, he has a chance to take a big step forward this season.

Lovig has some good tools under his belt that make him stand out. He runs good routes, knows how to get open in zone, and has soft hands that you can trust. I like his focus over the middle because he doesn't shy away from traffic and stays locked in on the ball. He looks comfortable finding space and making catches that move the chains and strikes me as someone you'd rely on 3rd down when you need something most.
