Hot Springs Trojans (AR) 2025 Team Preview

They return key experience on both sides of the ball, along with high-level transfers coming in from Malvern. Head Coach Darrell Burnett is entering his eighth season with the team. They're coming off a disappointing 2024 season after finishing with an 8-win season in 2023. The Trojans are looking to bounce back and make a playoff run. They have 11 returning starters and a wealth of next-level talent. He transfers in from Malvern High School. He can attack the full-field and hurt you with his legs. He can also improvise out of the pocket. Allen displays solid pocket footwork, mechanics, and a quick release. Off the release, he generates torque through the hips to put good velocity on the football. He showcases good ball placement with touch to layer over second-level defenders. The quarterback has good pocket mobility and awareness to evade pressure post-snap. The Las Vegas native will be playing on Saturday's. He displays a quick release due to good foot speed and acceleration, which enable him to cover ground quickly. Jaime showcases good mental processing when facing zone coverage. He effectively identifies open areas and settles into them. He maintains good body control and balance. He also has strong hands, along with good hand-eye coordination and ball-tracking skills. He can make catches in contested situations. He can adjust mid-route for throws that are behind or too high. He can high-point the ball effectively. Jaime displays good RAC ability at short and intermediate levels. His acceleration, burst, and balance aid him, allowing him to turn upfield quickly. He consistently attracts attention and faces double teams, yet he still excels at making contested catches. Morning has a quick release and eats up space quickly due to his good foot speed, foot quickness, and acceleration. He creates separation off his breaks due to his good change of direction, balance, dip, and burst. He also shows excellent hand-eye coordination and strong hands. He has the body control to adjust mid-route.
