Film Study: Section 4-6 2026 DL

Throughout the summer, we will be looking at the 2026, 2027, 2028 NY recruiting classes. While stats show numbers, film shows the entire story. For this series we will be looking at 10 players in each position throughout the next three cycles. In this edition of DL Film Study we have [player_tooltip player_id='726202' first='Chase' last='Williamee'], [player_tooltip player_id='1246087' first='Jordan' last='Wickham'], [player_tooltip player_id='1275964' first='Brody' last='Kaufman'], [player_tooltip player_id='505866' first='Jaizen' last='Warren'], [player_tooltip player_id='505861' first='Troy' last='Beeman'].    Standing at 6'0" 265 pounds, the Canandaigua star has a slightly undersized frame for a defensive lineman. Adding 5-10 pounds of good weight can benefit his frame in the long run.   Williamee is a violent tackler and displays good hand usage. He has a quick first step and a good get off the line. He understands leverage well and uses his hands and leverage to bend past guards. He has raw strength and drives guys back using it.   He is overlooked due to his size, but he displays good power and skills combined with good tape. Williamee is an underdog player, but he is certainly one of the top prospects in Section Five.      Wickham stands at 6'2", 240 pounds, displaying a solid build for a defensive lineman. Adding some good weight can benefit the Monroe prospects frame.   After transferring to Monroe, Wickham will look to continue his impressive football career. At Brockport, he split snaps at both Tackle on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I expect he does the same at Monroe, but I have him projecting as a DL. On his tape, he has good strength and leverage which is seen as he plugs up the A-gap and B-gap stopping the run.   Wickham is an intriguing prospect given his athleticism, with a new beginning at Monroe, I look forward to watching the Section Five prospect this fall.      Standing at 6'4" 285 pounds, Kaufman displays an excellent build for a Defensive lineman. He missed multiple games in his Junior Season but still led the Red Devils in sacks with five.   He projects as a hybrid EDGE and DL who can play anywhere on the line. He has good athleticism and a quick first step. He displays a good understanding of leverage and shows good body control with fluid hips which is used to bed around tackles and create a size mismatch on guards.   The Section Six prospect is a physical prospect who will look to build of his Junior Season for Clarence this fall.      The Bennett prospect is the second Section Six prospect on this list. Standing at 6'0" 300 pounds, Warren is a massive athlete who displays a good build for his position.   In his Junior Season he was named to the Fourth Team All State as an OL; however, his future is on the defensive side of the ball. He has solid awareness and quick first step allowing him to set the line. He is physical at the POA and displays good hand placement. He displays good body control and uses his leverage on both sides of the ball to win matchups.   Warren is a solid athlete which potential and skills on both sides of the ball. He will continue his two-way skills this season which will make him a top versatile athlete in Section Six.      Beeman is the top defensive lineman in Section Four. With his 6'1" 255 pound frame, he displays an undersized frame for a defensive lineman and can look to gain weight to add to his frame.   His strength is on full display in film as he excels in bull rushing lineman and creating havoc with his outstanding frame. He has the ability to become a Guard and can play on the line using his size to create gaps in run plays and thwart defenders in pass protection. He has good hand placement and understands leverage well.   Beeman is a solid prospect with a great frame. while film on him is limited he displays tools needed for success.
