When most think of Florida high school football prospects, they often equate these gifted players as athletes.

It is a state where you can play quarterback at the high school level, only to transition to the defensive secondary or another position when they reach college.

Look at so many of the premier athletes who are taught in the Sunshine State and trace what they do in college and at the professional level. You will certainly find that these gifted players are athletes who have played multiple positions on their journey.

As we approach the 2025 season, there are several talented athletes who will make a difference in the success of their teams by playing both ways – and in some cases – on special teams as well.

Today, as we continue to countdown the season, we bring you some quality athletes in the Class of 2026 – as these seniors continue to turn heads.

[player_tooltip player_id='1776486' first='Bowen' last='Barber'], 5'10, 175, Blountstown. This Marianna transfer comes over with plenty to offer as a receiver and safety, who has speed and a knack of getting open on offense – and getting around the field to make a big play on the defensive side of the ball. Many who lined up against him last season believe he has the chance to be very special.
