Central Florida Media Days Start Today

HEATHROW, Fl. – The anticipation is over as the countdown begins for the 2025 high school football season today as Day 1 of the Central Florida Football Media Days begins.

The opening day of three days that will be devoted to the teams, coaches and players will unfold at Seminole State College-Heathrow Campus will watch some of the most exciting and promising programs from as close as Lake Mary and Oviedo and as far away as Ocala, Daytona Beach and Palm Coast.

Like the past three years, this three-day event will be one to remember as media and football purists will gather to usher in another season.

With Varsity Sports Nation covering all the team through the three days – with player and coach interviews, the fans across the country will be treated to something special and first class.

“Every year we do these events, our objective is to get better and better,” said founder and organizer Dan LaForest on the three-day media days. “Throughout the year, coaches and players continue to rave about how much they enjoyed being part of these season kickoff events.

The first day will certainly shine a spotlight on those media outlets who cover these teams throughout the year.
