Arkansas Top Defensive Linemen Prospects Heading Into 2025

<p>With the season right around the corner, we take a look at the top defensive linemen in the Natural State. Most, if not all, of these prospects will be playing on Saturdays in 2026. Here are ten defensive linemen to watch. (No Particular Order).</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='413517' first='Anthony' last='Kennedy'] recently committed to Miami and is the top defensive lineman in the state. Kennedy excels against base blocks, quickly shedding them to make plays in the backfield or at the line of scrimmage. He is agile and can sidestep offensive linemen or extend his reach effectively. His athleticism and power enable him to be versatile along the defensive line. He can position himself anywhere from the 1-tech to the 5-tech. He shows a good explosion off the LOS and a good upfield burst. Beale can quickly disengage from blocks due to his good use of hands, enabling him to make plays in the backfield or at the line of scrimmage. He possesses good foot quickness and a combination of upper and lower body power, along with the pad level that allows him to drive offensive linemen back with a bull rush, creating pressure in the pocket. He forces teams to double-team him in the interior. He can create pressure from within due to a strong bull rush. Patterson plays with a good motor and play strength. He holds three offers from App State, Southern Miss, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. He displays good upfield burst off the LOS, consistently making plays in the backfield. His athletic ability and good UOH enable him to shed blocks effectively and disrupt plays consistently. He shows a good explosion off the LOS with good pad level, hand placement, and leg drive to either drive back the OL. Ward is a high motor, sideline-to-sideline prospect who is a force in the trenches.
