<p>To the best of my knowledge, I know two things to be true when it comes to player rankings. First, Prep Redzone is the industry leader in state-by-state depth when it comes to rankings. Second, Prep Redzone New Jersey – <em>specifically</em> – is the unabashed leader in sharing our evaluation ranking notes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1466384' first='Tyshawn' last='Sewell'] 5'9" 160 RB East Orange</td><td>Hard runner; generates force, can bowl an opponent over; tries to get low to truck, needs to get a little bit lower; has a very quick initial first two steps; does not make particularly hard cuts, sort of weaves and bounces when he can; sort of initiates and engages with contact - not what you would expect</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1551133' first='Van' last='Lefakis'] 6'3" 170 QB Haddonfield</td><td>Will step up and move, keeping his eyes down field; arm strength to get from middle-left hash to far side of the field on a comeback 20 yards downfield - consider the horizontal distance on this throw too; puts the ball in good spots for his target to receive it; bal might lose some juice when he is going vertical, but manages to get the job done; will put the ball on top shelf in tight windows for his guys to make a play; want to see him drive off of his front foot a bit more to get more velocity on the ball; used a lot in play action, looks comfortable doing this</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1547356' first='Vinny' last='Sacca'] 6'1" 205 QB Delran</td><td>Rocks the ball when running with it some, will put it to his outside arm when getting to the perimeter; a run-first type of quarterback, when facing pressure he scrambles and takes it himself; used a lot rolling out, due to a lot of PAP in the play calling; throws can be in better position for his teammates to ru after the catch; probably not a quarterback in college, something tells me linebacker</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1515039' first='Wasi' last='Muhammad'] 6'0" 160 WR Camden</td><td>Sharp movements on short routes; seems to have good burst, acceleration to get behind people; has wiggle, can make multiple people miss in pursuit; better hip sink will make his routes even better and create more separation; seems like he can read a defender and break his stem early depending on how he is played to make for easy throws in vacant zone; beats press coverage with speed to the otuside; can maintain catch through big contact; returns to the ball on comeback-type routes; has natural speed and ability, I would consider him raw with above-average to high upside; uses hands to catch</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='212406' first='William' last='Crisdon'] 6'2" 280 OL Camden</td><td>Offensive tackle that can cover a lot of ground with his kick step; looks the part; athletic and agile enough to get to second level, move at it well; has a hard time bending at moments; not a fan of hiow he double teams players at the second level; interior tackle, good tackler/defnder; strong, can take you down with one hand; neeeds to fire out low; have not seen him play with his hand in the dirt on offense, stays in a 2 point stance; does not blow anyone away with strength on offense, has not shown exceptional foot speed, agile where he stays in front of his matchup in pass protection; has a really good looking body; recoils and punches well in pass protection</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1287381' first='William' last='Pallay'] 6'0" 230 OL Wallkill Valley</td><td>Refits hands when blocking; fires off the ball well; stance is low, but fires up a bit, rather than out; looks like a whell built prospect, is he taller than he lists? very good leg drive, latches on, controls opponents, and moves them; consistent base; harder time reaching opponents</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='855779' first='Xavien' last='Rodriguez'] 5'10" 150 QB Union City</td><td>Throws a lot of fade balls, leads receiver well and has excellent timing with him; film is literally 5:30 minutes of fade balls with a few comebacks sprinkled in there; looks like he has designated reads and sticks to them no matter what</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1537251' first='Xavier' last='Diaz'] 5'8" 145 DB Old Bridge</td><td>Corner; can run with most players he faces; gets hips around well; goes in low and tries to wrap/sweep ankles; does not jump paritcualrly high; hips allowed him to recover once on a bad throw where he was beat; many highlights from one film; played safety; not aggressive enough in run support, in sure if he does not see keys or not; athletic, needs some refinement in his technique; looks a bit small on film</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1545707' first='Xavier' last='Jackson'] 6'2" 185 DB Bergen Catholic</td><td>Plays off about 9 yards, can play tip drill well; big, thick body on the outside; looks to take out hips when tackling, rather than wrap; has not shown smooth feet on his film, perhaps why he plays off; will press at the lineand get hands on, rides the back of in-breaking receivers to make palys on the ball from underneath; alternates between back pedaling and skating when covering; plays through your hands to the ground on contested passes; must break down to balance when tackling in the open field better; manages to keep contain; has a downhill burst; probably a safety or star, not so much a corner; tackling, hips, feet can improve should eh want to remain a corner in college;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1513535' first='Xavier' last='Paulino'] 6'0" 185 DL Bayonne</td><td>Needs more bend on his stance to generate more power; can routinely beat defenders off the edge with speed ; solid pursuit angles; has not shown a move; must bend corner better; works back to quarterback effectively when they step up in the pocket; quick feet allow him to cross face and slant effectively; has not shown himself take on trappers or defend the run much; hustle player, saved a TD on breakout play 50+ yarads down field to save a TD</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1054153' first='Za'hir' last='Paynter'] 5'9" RB Kingsway</td><td>Runs high; will lower shoulder and can make a jump cut well; sort of just absorbs hits and keeps running; very slender; has some balance to take blows and stay upright; has speed to split cover 2 safties, just not break away yet; interesting prosect, what to see more of him; fights and claws for yardage; willing blocker for teammates</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1476839' first='Zach' last='Cramer'] 5'7" 185 LB Central Regional</td><td>Takes a hip step as a read step, prevents him from getting down hill most of the time; seems like he has short arms, difficult for him to wrap; runs through his opponent with full force when tackling, other times will hold on</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1540926' first='Zach' last='Konetzni'] 5'10" 160 DB Glen Rock</td><td>Does not need a 10 minute highlight film; first defensive clip starts at 7 minutes in; feel as though he does not bail to his half-field in cover 2 when ball is on pposite hash with enough purpose; sticks to his backpedal, which allows him to get good breaks on the ball; want to see him take a steeper angle intot he alley to force back to help/angles in the alley run supporting can be better; hits are fairly fluid; has shown ability to high point the ball; tackling must be lower and through the thighs; not a bad athlete; runs and moves well;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1558130' first='Zach' last='LaBarca'] 6'2" 195 QB St. John Vianney</td><td>Can get the ball about 55 yards vertically, transfers weight although not dramatically; can put the ball in position for a receiver to toe tap along sideline on a 25 yard out route, arm strong enough to rope it there when on near side hash; athletic enough to escape trouble and rip off a big gainer; has some desgined runs, can beat a single high safety but a corner will catch him; makes some really long throws across the field; might throw off his back foot at times with the deep ball; trusts his guys to make plays on the ball, carries ball away from his body; will take a hit to deliver the ball; want to see more of a route tree, especially over the middle - how can he lead his guys for YAC and away from danger?</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='402248' first='Zahir' last='Weatherington'] 5'10" 170 RB Nutley</td><td>Does not need a 9 minute highlight film and does not highlight himself, also needs to trim the film - too much pre snap lineup; uses hands to catch the ball; breaks down nicely when setting up an open-field move; kickoff returner, pins ball has danger arrives; has speed in the open field, can beat a defender who has a good angle on him; sets up a hard jump cut to the outside, only to pressure cut back to the inside when it appears that he is not running his track; has cutback vision; balance is a trait of his, can break out of leverage roll tackles; have not seen pressure cuts from him or stiff arm</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1259045' first='Zion' last='Grant'] 5'8" 180 LB Hillsborough</td><td>Gets to his drop's depth and sits, gets head on swivel and will lower the shoulder to light people up over the middle; pursues the ball, does not always pin it to his chest; comes off the edge, must keep contain in order for him to do so effectively; better than average tackler; a fullback type, runs wiht a forward lean; want to see him pin ball to his chest with a higher degree of fidelity</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1530053' first='Zion' last='Yoon'] QB River Dell</td><td>Does not need a 10 minute highlight film; can get the ball about 40 yards vertically up field; release can be quicker; able to create for himself in the face of danger; looks very small on film; receivers sometimes have to slow down to receive his passes; receivers typically are not getting YAC; looks unafraid as a player</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>
