Turnbull has the frame and tools to emerge as one of the more disruptive edge defenders in the 2028 class. At 6'3, 185 pounds, he possesses natural length and leverage to win off the edge, and if he continues to add weight without sacrificing his flexibility or burst, he could become a major problem for opposing tackles. Turnbull has dedicated himself this offseason to refining his technique and building strength, giving him the foundation to compete at a high level. If he puts it all together this fall, Turnbull has the potential to be one of the more impactful edge players to monitor over the next few seasons.     Weaver brings an intriguing combination of size, athleticism and upside to the linebacker position. With the physical tools to play in space and the toughness to drop down into the box, he fits the mold of today's hybrid linebacker. He's spent the offseason sharpening his footwork and coverage ability, and that development could earn him a spot in the rotation this season. Weaver isn't afraid to lay a big hit on the ball carrier or receivers coming across the middle. As he continues to gain reps and confidence, his natural instincts and versatility could allow him to be a consistent presence at the second level. He's a name that you will need to keep on the radar for 2028.     Blind is one of those players whose versatility allows him to make an impact on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he's a dynamic back with soft hands and strong instincts, showing the ability to find the cutback lane and hit the hole quickly. Defensively, he has the frame and quickness to play linebacker and thrives when attacking gaps and wrapping up ball carriers. Blind also shows promise in coverage being able to track backs or tight ends in space. His speed and effort consistently stand out and with his two-way ability, Blind could develop into a core player for his team this fall and beyond.     Hinderland enters his sophomore season with valuable varsity experience already under his belt, and he's poised to take the next step as a full time contributor. A fast, aggressive linebacker, Hinderland plays downhill and displays excellent instincts against the run. His ability to shed blocks and close on the ball quickly makes him a dangerous presence at the second level. Hinderland brings an edge to the defense and has the physicality to be an every down player in 1A. With another offseason of development, he could see a breakout season in 2024 and continue building momentum as one of the better small school linebackers in the 2028 class.     Teddy is a developing linebacker prospect who will look to use this offseason to make his varsity breakthrough. He plays with urgency and shows strong pursuit angles, closing in on ball carriers with physicality. As a two-way player, Teddy brings added value with his ability to contribute at running back, though his future may be brightest on defense. He's focused on building strength and speed this offseason and will be aiming to carve out a rotational role at linebacker. With his willingness to compete and natural vision, Teddy is trending in the right direction and could become a steady presence on defense in the coming years.
