More guys keep popping up, however. Here's another collection of seniors with something to prove in 2025:

In what turned out to be a difficult season for Central, Tate was one of the guys who provided hope the situation can improve in 2025. He ranked among his team's leaders with 10 solo tackles, while also chipping in on offense. Tate shows potential for more this season during his junior highlight video. He's dangerous with the ball in his hands, as the first few clips show. Taking pitches, he picks his way through the defense. Tate is even more impressive as a cornerback with fluid movements and excellent instincts in coverage, while also being able to come down in run support.

Manternach was a two-way contributor as a junior in 2024. He caught 19 passes for 255 yards and a touchdown. On defense, he collected 43.0 tackles (32 solo). Manternach stands out for the athleticism that allows him to impact the game on both sides of the ball. During his 11th-grade highlight video, he provides insight into his success. The first clip has him breaking up a pass while playing safety, where he brings physicality. On the second clip, he goes in motion, takes a short pass, makes a few guys miss and races down the sideline for a big gain. Much of the film shows him dicing up defenses in the middle of the field, but I'm intrigued by his work as a deep defensive back.

As a Comet junior, Lehman delivered in the trenches on both sides of the ball. He piled up 31.0 tackles (21 solo, 2.5 TFL) and 2.5 sacks. Opposing defensive linemen found him a tough matchup as well. We can see how he gets the job done when watching his 11th-grade highlight video. Much of it is him blowing people up from his left guard position. Lehman is powerful in close quarters but athletic enough to pick guys off in space, playing through the whistle at all times. Lehman's frame looks like it can comfortable add weight without losing the agility.

Salow posted 14.0 tackles last season with 4.0 solo stops and a sack. He also stood out on the offensive line, where he might have the most potential. Salow has a projectable frame that could add weight and strength without the loss of quickness and athleticism that help make him effective already. While still a bit raw, Salow's technique is sound, and he benefits from strong, active hands. He gets a good start off the snap, often eliminating his defender early in the play. There aren't many pass-pro clips on the film, but what is there looks sound.

The Rebels received plenty of production from Mills last season. The junior ran for nine touchdowns and threw for two more scores. He rushed for 829 yards (11.7 YPC). On defense, Mills accumulated 43.0 tackles, 2.5 of which resulted in lost yardage, and intercepted a pass. He returned 11 kicks for 302 yards (27.5 YPR) and a TD. His 11th-grade highlight video reveals a speedy playmaker capable of delivering a chunk play whenever he has the ball in his hands. Mills also can pick up tough yards and runs with physicality in traffic. A versatile defender, Mills shines as a slot corner capable of running with receivers or supporting the run.

Williams caught three passes for 76 yards in 2024, showing off his big-play ability. While he flashes potential on that side of the ball, he is more established on defense, where he posted 37.0 tackles (27 solo, 4.5 TFL). We see what makes him effective when watching his junior highlight video. Williams is a versatile cornerback that can cover outside or in the slot. He diagnoses plays well pre-snap and carries out his assignment once the ball is snapped. Disciplined and technically sound, Williams looks prepared.
