Members of the 2026 Class are doing what they can to get noticed during summer college camps. For many, that pursuit will continue into their senior seasons this fall. Time is of the essence for this group, which still contains a lot of talent available to programs on the next level.

Swan earned Class A second-team all-state laurels as a junior last season. That's saying something when you consider he piled up 28.0 tackles (12 solo, 19.5 TFL) and 6.0 sacks. On-line video highlights of Swan are limited. There are clips on his Hudl page for three games from a season ago. In them, Swan proves to be a well-rounded interior offensive lineman, one capable of plowing over opponents in the running game or holding them off in pass-pro. With strong hands well placed, he maximizes his already impressive strength and power. Swan's frame can comfortably add mass without him losing valuable agility.

An important contributor last season, McCoy looks to build on campaign that saw him flash potential with a touchdown catch and a sack. His junior highlight video reveals a student-athlete capable of taking on a larger role in 2025. As a receiver, we see McCoy operate successfully in the middle of the field and beat defenders deep. Speed and quickness make that accessible for him, but he also delivers crisp routes and sound technique. McCoy is dangerous after the catch with his ability to make people miss and accelerate through small openings. He's solidly put together, which helps him be an effective blocker.

When watching Berryhill's junior highlight video, we witness a high-energy defender that plays with physicality. Last season, it resulted in 10.0 tackles (8 solo, 2.0 TFL), numbers that should easily rise in 2025. Berryhill is very active on the second level of the defense, showing an aptitude for getting downhill to the ball quickly and sticking with receivers on underneath routes. Berryhill plays disciplined football, keeping the integrity of the scheme and delivering within its framework. While he operates at linebacker for Indianola, his skill set works at safety for some programs on the next level.

Kratofil produced 16.0 tackles (5 solo, 2.5 TFL) and a half sack as a 10th-grader last season. The versatile defender should see those statistics rise in 2025, when more opportunity likely coming his way. During his sophomore highlight video, Kratofil shows that he can deliver whether he has a hand in the dirt or is standing up off of the edge. He's committed to the scheme, carrying out his assignments within it. Kratofil succeeds with a combination of strength and speed. Attention to improving those areas even more this offseason would lead to what could be a breakout campaign for Kratofil.

I won't pretend to know the ins and outs of punting and kicking but identifying them as prospects with potential is within reach. That's certainly the case with Simons, who stands out during his junior highlight video. He averaged 37.0 yards on 38 punts, displaying a knack for kicking directionally and strategically. His hang time impresses as does his get-off. As the team's backup place-kicker, Simon showed leg strength and accuracy.

The Comets soared to nine wins last season with Paulsen disrupting what other offenses were attempting to do. He finished it with 40.0 tackles (33 solo, 7.5 TFL), chipping in a two-point conversion, to boot. Paulsen's junior highlight video reveals a student-athlete with intriguing potential. Speed and athleticism lead to much of his success right now. He overwhelms offensive linemen with them. To reach his potential, Paulsen can work on filling out his frame, which he can do without losing the important traits he already possesses. He runs well enough to move back to the defense's second level in college.

*Editor's Note: Prep Redzone Iowa had [player_tooltip player_id='1689777' first='Cory' last='Kratofil'] incorrectly isted in the 2026 Class and included him in this post. He is in the '27 recruiting cycle and that changed has reflected in his profile. We've decided to keep him in this article with the five other seniors because it's already published and does change our scouting report.
